Maladon Posted June 30, 2006 Share Posted June 30, 2006 Well, after much arguing with friends at my local club(actually there wasn't, they liked the idea!) I've decided to go forth an make the Black Omegas or Omega Legion based on the Black Omega Squadron from Babylon 5 tv series. Since of what I remember of watching B5, they(black Omegas) were a elite fighter wing of the Psi Corp... so tranlating this into a space marine chapter is going to be difficult... but using the traits system they are Sombre. With seen but not seen and cleanse and purity. with eye to eye as the disadvantage... can't infiltrate noise! I know that there is alot of people on this forum that seem to think that there is only one marine chapter with the name Omega in the name and that's final.... well there isn't now... now there's two! Get over it! :lol: :o ;) Fluff will be coming I promise.... with a hit of what's to come- Works with the inquisition! Sure there may be a few DIY Chapters but you are rarely going to bump into them and very few develop their chapters so that everyone knows about them (i.e. SCC's Brazen claws). There are loads of chapters called Sons of X or X Falcons. The only answer to give is basically ... too bad ;) It's your Chapter. If you want to share your ideas here then be prepared for praise and criticism. I will be the first to tell you that taking an idea from somewhere else and making 40K fit into it can be a challenge. Some compromise will have to be made unless you can pull it off. Justto let you know ... I don't recall ever reading any fluff that said there could only ever be one chapter with Omega in it's name... Stupid crazy people...
