chaplain mortis
hey all took some of your suggestions and comments and changed a few things to the big guy... wondering wether to add anything more to his back, as it seems a bit sparse! and maybe another "crenallated" piece of plasti-card to his shrapnel guard. comments and suggestions welcome as always  http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/sw.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/sw1.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/sw2.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/sw3.jpg cheers for looking Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/90684-castellan-avalon-mk2/ Share on other sites
Angelos
Looks grat, the only thing I think he needs is some sort of cloak, the cover his back and cover some gaps in the front  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/90684-castellan-avalon-mk2/#findComment-1043014 Share on other sites
retlaw83
This is looking great. I don't think his back needs anything; something about its relative plain-ness makes him more intimidating, and it makes it seem as though the rest of his ornamentation doesn't inhibit him in any way. Starks333
***i really think the new lightning claws would suit the style better of this model(bigger, and less feral looking) also consider something like what the inquisitor on the cover of cdoex daemonhunters is wearing, a cloak type thing with arm slits, so it comes a bit in the front as well, looks awesome, and would add a lot of character to the model he needs some character because hes a bit plain right now, he just looks like a sergeant Starks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/90684-castellan-avalon-mk2/#findComment-1043094 Share on other sites
Azazal
I think he looks pretty cool as is. Too much detail can drown the model out, too much to look at - See John Blanche. The way you have him now you can make the torches the bright eye catcher, then people can study the detail as they look at the figure in depth.
