Heil Brothers, finally I've complete another man of my army, I didn't paint a lot in this last times, to busy with a lot of personal problems... I've also lost my skills for me but anyway you'll judge... here is Sergent Akram of the first tactical squad of my army the ++ Clockwork Ravens ++ let me know what you think about him...

PS: Sorry for the dark pics

Very nice model and paint job Raziellycas... I have only a couple of things I would have done different, or would suggest you think about perhaps adding to your model... both Minor Details to be sure.

First, I would have painted the wreath on the Power Fist some other color, say that nice red of the cloak? or a good dark green perhaps?

Second, I would have picked out the skull on the right shoulder pad with Bleached Bone and Bone White. I realize it's a metal plate, but Space Marines seem to add skulls and such to their armor a lot, and most are made either of real bones, some bone-like material, or some material that's colored the same as weathered bone.

It's your model, but perhaps you might want to give the whole thing a good looong look for other details that might be highlighted, picked out in contrasting color(s), and other such detail work. I've found that detail can and does get noticed by someone picking up your model for closer examination. The more time you spend on details, the more favorable responses you'll get.

first: It's for the paint scheme I've choose... black and gold but anyway I understand your idea

second... maybe I will change it in bone color

Indeed. I understand. My comments were only to point out things I thought could use improvement. Not demands on your time, efforts, or inventiveness. And I did comment, didn't I, that the figure looks really good?

Just my suggestions. This is Forums after all.

I'm inclined to agree with Rymeer, at least on the wreath. Even painting it in one of the other colors of your scheme (silver?) would help, just to make it stand out y'know?

That said though, I like everything I've seen of your army, and this is no exception. Well done and please keep it up :P

I realy good job, From what I can see,you havent lost much painting skill at all.

I agree withthe comments about the wreath on the power first, though, even if you just paint it in the grey/black you use on the other half of the marines

I like this, the extra cabling on the powerfist and the muzzleless bolter are nice touches :)

The armour, flesh and banner are nicely painted but id agree with the points made about the details on the power fist

Plus the biohazard symbol looks quite cool.

Not meaning to be funny, especially with being new and all, but what, thematically, does a biohazard symbol have to do with either clockwork or ravens?

Ahahah ok ok this questions needs a answer... well for the fluff they have a mutations in their geneseeds that produce a virus in thir blood, they are truly contagious but don't suffer "wounds" for their sickness and then here you have the biohazard... for the clockwork always for the fluff they live in a system where the life isn't born from carbon but from a metal called phyrexium and they have acquired this mutations choosing neophyts from the locals and here you have clockwork... for the last Ravens well... Ravens is my favourite bird :(

Sorry about the lateness of this reply. You knew I'd have something to say though! :o

Love the depth of the red in regards to the cloak, and the model is truely top notch.

I do agree with the comments about the wreaths and skulls though. They would certainly help the model "pop" more.

Incidentally Raz,what ever happened with your GS attempts?I loved the Necromonger look that you were planning to adopt for the Clockwork Ravens.

This is the first squad.. necromonger will be painted when the first is completed... just another guy and the work will be done ^__^... keep the faith :P

I have always loved your army. The biohazard sign is the second icon of this army, am I correct?? The first was abit, um whats the word I'm looking for, contraversial? Anyway, it looks great, keep up the great work.

Cheers,

MCA.

yes second choice.... ^__^

I love him, very gothic and ornate, any more pics of the army?

check my signature... this is the only list of photos at this moment

THAT is a sergeant?! ;) <faints> What's the production rate on these guys? 1 marine every 6 months? :P

yes a sergent... when I work hard I can paint some of them in a week but in this last times I'm a bit busy... not a lot of time for my favourite hobby
