maverike_prime
Yes, I'm aware Eberus and the Word Bears speccifically targeted the Warmaster and the luna Wolves. And yes I'm aware the Thousand sons are more likely to worship Tzeentch. I'd disagree with you about the Space Wolves being more khorne then Slaneesh, but thats neither hear nor there. As for the Thousand Sons siding with Slaneesh over Tzeentch, here's my thinking: The space Wolves that sided with the Thousand sons agianst Russ, ultimately ended up with slaneesh over Khorne because they saw what was happening with the World Eaters and Blood angles and wanted nothing to do with it. The surviving thousand sons sided with their space wolf Allies for milatary force. A dead scorceror isn't much of a scorceror afterall. So the Wolves went with Slaneesh and the thousand sons remained with them. Yeah i know this isn't even clos to how the herasy went with regaurd to the books and what not, but that's the great thing about a freely open hobby: You can do what ever you want. Plus the only real peice I'm really worried about justifing is the Lord Marneus Calgar. The rest is just added material. Ya know? Rau le Creuset
I admire your will to realise your idea, but the Space Wolves Legion splitting up and one part siding with Magnus that just sounds absurd in alle means. A half Legion betraying their primarch and siding with sorcerers (SW are especially pejudiced against sorcery) is just too much. Just use the feud between the Dark Angels and Space Wolves at a crucial point of the fight for the Emperor, to have one of them flee in the arms of Chaos because they attacked the other legion. The idea with the Blood Angels sounds good, but don't let Sanguinius be defeated by Gulliman (he's not one of the most powerful primarchs). The Iron Hands reamined loyal until after the herasy. With the loss of Manus their hatred for weakness in all forms grew to unheard of levels. When Nurgle approached them and offered them strength enough to find their lost primarch, they quickly agreed. Iron Hands are obsessed with replacing their weak fleshy parts by strong mechanic parts. So ending up as rotten, obese blobs just doesn't fit them. Why not let them be consumed by their hatred for the weak (and therefor normale humans) and side with Chaos Undivided to purge the weak out of the galaxy. maelis
I am loving the idea of "The Defiled Gauntlets of Ultramar" This whole blasphemy-theme is really inspiring!
