Legacy40k
It is part of the Witchhunters Book, so it is allowed. Personally, I think you overdid it on the red blood all over the front, it's a bit distracting, otherwise it's good. -Legacy40k Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/91266-archo-flagellent/#findComment-1049347 Share on other sites
insane30
I like the blood personally. The Arcoflagellants I've seen seem to clean to be psycho killing machines. However what I would maybe change is by making the blood more spattered as if it came gushing out of an enemy. One way to achieve this is to take and old tooth brush, dip it in your red of choice, bring it next to the model, pull the bristles away from the model with your thumb and release. -Your Randomly Numbered Psychotic Friend Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/91266-archo-flagellent/#findComment-1049356 Share on other sites
Obliterator
I agree with Legacy40K, the blood does distract from the overall appearance. Thinner lines to indicate flesh cuts or more 'splattered' blood would be better IMHO. ArbitesAugmented
A good job though, and the flesh does look suitably 'dead' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/91266-archo-flagellent/#findComment-1049414 Share on other sites
Soul-Reaper
The blood would be better in white cloths instead of red ones otherwise it just gets too red. The face is nice because of the contrast white/red. In my opinion you should paint the clothes like that too. PurpleHarold
Mm, thanks for thr input. I think I'll redo the whites, and leave the blood for the bare skin. Anything else you suggest while I got my brush in hand? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/91266-archo-flagellent/#findComment-1049575 Share on other sites
