Painting Death Guard

Well, Ive been wandering around the forums for the past few weeks after hearing of the resurrection of the one and only, bolter and chainsword. Lately I've been looking at Xenos, but then coming to my senses I ran straight back to the marines. I dug out my old space wolves, considered the new chapter rules and a new chapter I could make. Because I have always been a fan of close combat armys with a little bit of shooting.

Then, my friend lent me his chaos codex and told me to "take a look", first the sound of heresy was atrocious, but then, over the weeks it kept whispering to me, Nurgle, Slaanesh, Tzeentch...not Khorne, because nobody likes them. Anyways, one voice was stronger than the rest, and that was Grandfather Nurgle. So, I put the Sons of Russ back into the hole where they belong, and went out and bought a boxed set of plague marines, and painted them. I will have pictures up soon. But I want to make this a tournament army, enter the Vancouver GT's and such. So I was wondering if people could post some of their nurgle stuffs and tell me how they painted it and such.

P.S. It's awesome to be back on the forums

Yes heresy is bittersweet isn't it, if you mean vancouver B.C then Yay i am a vancouverite? too!

anywho back to the topic I have a nurgle army(they are pretty badly painted because I painted them 2 days before a HoH tourney at Checkpoint Charlie's(my lgs) but anyways yeah), Let The Galaxy Rot!!!!

although it's not pretty it does the job, so far they were my favourite army to play and they have cool fluff(as you have probably read)

Also if you haven't checked it out http://www.deathguard.org has some helpful stuff and some good inspiration

looking forward to seeing some of your work

From black i drybrushed him up to white through greys. After that he recived a few layers of greenish oilcolours. Cant help with the other colours since I experimented wildly so there is a lot of layers going on.

Now can I see what you have done. Please?

My Death Guard model is painted in a gray-ish colour. I't actually grey with a green tinge to it and a brownish shading.
