Dimreapa Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 The epic struggle between these two has lasted (blogwise) since the Death of the Immortals Space Marine Chapters grand master Darius - naturally, Talus being responsible. Until recently, Furegor was just a character in my new blog concerning my marines, and my chaos army. My Marines, led by Darius, betrayed by Master Chaplain Talus who had turned to chaos turning half the chapter with him - are now trying to kill Talus for his treachery - Talus, who is allied to Zachary the Unforgiving of the World Eaters has allowed them partial control of his chapter to fuel their search for Kharne the betrayer - (thus the world eater characters and asp champions) - However Talus wants to destroy his chapter, while Furegor wishes the destruction of the traitors - most importantly talus. EDIT: I'm surprised non of you mentioned Furegor's Chainfist! Although I think as models, the quality of Talus is superior I think and I'm much more pleased with the paintjob. The skull right now IMO looks more like bad ink job than the "dark, horrid" look you were going for. Painting the eyes purple (yes, purple) would really help this. Red eyes have become too clich?e(too lazy to look up the ASCII code for the accent ;) ). Also an idea for the skull; start with a liche purple basecoat follow this with a bleached bone and then a light skull white drybrush And in the other pics I honestly didnt notice the scissor-hands. Look really nice though what about adding a little skull in there? :ph34r: That just what I get from the pose; that hes rolling something around between his fingers... Seeing as my favourite colour is purple, I was tempted, but I wont be taking your advice, simply because I'm satisfied myself with the skull.
