beefy
after a few attempts ive finally come up with a SHP that fits my Blood Angels like a glove. theres still work to be done, such as finish the base, green stuff the wings and drill out the plasma pistol. but i'm really pleased with him so far. any c+c would be apreciated. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/resize.jpg front http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/front.jpg left http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/left.jpg left close http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/lclose.jpg right http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/right.jpg right close http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/rclose.jpg thanks all. Legacy40k
Rarely do I like a winged marine, but that one looks sweet. I think it needs a different head. I'd be tempted to use the pretty boy face from the Brettonian Knights of the Realm Sprue. -Legacy40k Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/91714-my-shp/#findComment-1053952 Share on other sites

Master_Aerethos
That really is a nice model, I like how you made the model incredibly dynamic by not doing much. He's definately going to look imposing on the table :D Master_Aerethos Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/91714-my-shp/#findComment-1054189 Share on other sites
MIGHTYPanhead
Actually, I like the helmet! gives it a much more sinister look than any 'ol pretty-boy head could. Those legs are erally nice, may I ask where thier from. The new jump chaplain if I'm not mistaken. Blindhamster
it does look rather nice, and i agree that the bretonian head with no helm would be great! however... you made a boo boo with the sword arm (or maybe it was intentional... youve made the gorilla arms of regular marines even worse... it appears that you cut of the original hand and then stuck on the hand with a glove... instead you should have (in my oppinion) cut the arm at jus a bit below the elbow and stuck on the gloved hand for a slightly less long arm... either that or im insane and seeing things? beefy
cheers guys~ @zbo: yes, as MIGHTYPanhead said, they are the new flying Chapy legs. they come off pretty easy with a jewlers saw. @Blindhamster: wow, as i scrolled up to look at the pic, it does infact look like the the glove is attached to the hand. i then looked at the model and was relieved to find that the photo is misleading. if you look in this pic http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b160/sonofbeef/right.jpg you can faintly make out the elbow pipeing just above the glove. thanks for the heads up tho :) as for the Bretonian, ive yet to see one that grabs me by the ears. but that may change when i take a look in shop. thanks all, now i have to green stuff those wings!
