grey knight grand master

i am considering using the calgar model to convert into a grey knight grand master.

i plan on removing the U fron his belt and putting some sort of icon to cover it

replacting the head withe perhaps a gk terminator or somethign similar.

and using gk arms with sterns sword.

the problem i am facing is as to wheater or not i should use the calgar should pads and cut of the gauntlets

and replace them withe the gk ones.

here is a few pictures of what i'm basing it off. although this one is a base mode of lysander

middle of converting calgar into something so i can tell you what i found...

you dont want to use a GK helmet for a head cause its too big and would ruin that nice bit of sculpting around his shoulders.

use plastic terminator bits for the arms...alot easier to turn into what you want as calgar has ammo vents on the back of his torso and green stuff just looks messy if you remove them.

Hey all.

In a bit of a rush, but I 'll post pictures of my marneus -> grey knight conversion. I'll come back later and give details if you want more?
