If you want to paint your marine piecemeal then there are a few ways to go:

 

1) Glue a piece of sprue to the spot where you attach the arm to the torso and do the same on the lowerside of the shoulderpad if you want to do that seperate aswell

 

2) You can do the same sort of thing but the with iron wire -> drill a hole-> insert pin

 

This way you have something to grip and no fingers or fingerprints...AND no skin oils that get onto your paint and miniature and you can use it for whatever piece of a marine you want to paint
