The_Chaplain
ZOMG! Can we get a close up on the CCW arms? (how did you do those???) Looking sweet dude! OwlandMoonGuy
Thanks, ~ The right arm is the original, Furioso arm (not the one that comes in the current box). It should have a melta gun but got nominated to be the heavy flamer. The promethium tanks are from the Baal Predator box. The hand is from the Tyrus model in the Inquisitor range. The other arm is the one included w/the Furioso, just with the storm bolter replace w/a meltagun. Thanks again, -OMG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/98148-angels-sanguine-furioso-dread/#findComment-1127972 Share on other sites

Dammekkos
Hate to be critical but I don't like that pose in the slightest (unless he's fighting on a Daemon world deep within the eye of terror or something). In fact I have despised the dread legs for a good few years now, and that insane pose does nothing to help. angel robertson
Can i ask why you think its insane? A little constructive criticism would help! I think it will look cool when finished like he has just crushed the building. Terminus Est
The legs do seem a little extremely tilted, but it does look a lot better with the sarcophagus on. The paint job (from what i could see) is absolutely great. We want more pics! I think it will look cool when finished like he has just crushed the building. AR I think it is insane because it looks like an impossible manoeuvre. That was constructive as far as I am concerned. I have enjoyed many of OMG's projects in the past and have said as much, but I don't like this one. I'm not sure what I could do to make the comment more constructive. If it is to suggest a change, the change I would like to see is obvious. If it is to sprinkle some sort of compliment on top of the criticism, I think OMG is old enough to take criticism without having to dilute it with praise. Master Chaplain Astador
OMG I hate you!!! Paint me an army!! lol No jk!! I like painting my own models, but seeing yours makes me want to do a Blood Angel Army again. *sigh* now I just have to wait for a codex and new models for them and I will do it! ^_^ But the model looks good so far! Care to share with us how you did his base? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/98148-angels-sanguine-furioso-dread/#findComment-1128379 Share on other sites

Brother Nihm
Very nice battle damage and weathering, both painted and converted. I don't mind the pose but I suspect that will change (for better or for worse :) ) when I get to see the completed dreadnought. From the way the arms look in the pics now, I fear that he might come out looking a bit static. Will you place the arms close to the body? one pointing up, one downwards? Personally I think that a "arms-wide-open" pose would work best. It would make him appear more aggressive. There's one thing though, a tiny thing.. I see a moldline on top of the building part, in the 3rd pic down. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/98148-angels-sanguine-furioso-dread/#findComment-1128536 Share on other sites

Brother Nihm
@Brother Nihm: As you may note on the green stuff along the front edge of the army joints, I have set them so that the arms will be stretched out as you suggest. The right arm will be pointed out and up (counterbalancing its weight on its right foot ^_^ ) and the other out but more level Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/98148-angels-sanguine-furioso-dread/#findComment-1128659 Share on other sites

Pugski
IIRC that is the right hand of Witchhunter Tyrus, from the Inquisition range. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/98148-angels-sanguine-furioso-dread/#findComment-1128760 Share on other sites

Galahad_Knight
I like the post, BTW. It looks much less imposisble wiht the body on. ursidae
OMG, I have never been disappointed by your works and I am still proud to call you my brother in arms! Orkdung
Not a fan of the flash line on the wall coming down. I expect my Sanguine brothers to look 100% when I go into battle with them ;) Aside from that, I'm excited to see what this lil devil can do!!! CHAOS is going down!! Orkdung
OMG, give him some of your standard red sand basing, behind the dread, as if he is moving from the standard to the CoD, so the 2 merge, helping to fit the model into the entire theme of the army. Id keep him standing on the wall, looks fantastic. Id just clean up the flash line.
