Grimtooth
So since we have so many thunderwolf mount posts and new people are constantly asking questions regarding where or what models look like I figured it would be nice to centralize all information and post up pictures. This is not a reviews or complaining thread. This is only to put up information for searches and post pictures of your own thunderwolves. This thread is not for thunderwolves conversions, only for models being marketed for thunderwolves. So in no apparent order: Mr. Dandy: http://www.mrdandy.com/wargamma-battle-wolves/ He has a set of 5. http://www.mrdandy.com/storage/thumbnails/4821821-6107687-thumbnail.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1268388777535 http://www.mrdandy.com/storage/thumbnails/4821821-6107707-thumbnail.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1268390027090 http://www.mrdandy.com/storage/thumbnails/4821821-6107698-thumbnail.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1268390326117 http://www.mrdandy.com/storage/thumbnails/4821821-6107712-thumbnail.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1268390801507 http://www.mrdandy.com/storage/thumbnails/4821821-6107693-thumbnail.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1268392034067 Mrs. Russian: She is/was a Ebay seller so search there. PKAwolf
I am biased toward the fillipino wolves and they come as a set of 5, you should make the effort of posting the full collection EDIT: Max beat me to the punch, thank you sir also you should list it under Mythicast as they have taken over stock and sales of the original seller (Im still disputing the charge with eBay) who no longer appears to be listing items Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206007-thunderwolf-mounts/#findComment-2457320 Share on other sites

JimmyGuyy
Here's the most common mounts I run into, both unaffiliated minis, but relatively cheap and easy to convert. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j296/henrix_here/Minis/DireWolf2.jpg Dire Wolf, Dungeons of Dread (d&d) mini, rare $15-20 http://lh3.ggpht.com/_OwELnJJJwRY/SwgXxFJeqbI/AAAAAAAAADY/MfKlrFoVSS0/s400/DSCN0007.JPG Fenris Wolf, Heroclix mini, rare $7-10 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206007-thunderwolf-mounts/#findComment-2457816 Share on other sites
Grimtooth
Not looking for conversions, but what people are making and producing as thunderwolf mounts. There is another thread for thunderwolf models conversions. JimmyGuyy
My mistake, I tend to lump them into GW and non GW, rather than purpose built and conversions. Subtitle said "all available models," so I felt compelled to add the obvious ones. Simo429
The Phillipino ones are certainly my favourite Has anyone actually got them I don't want to upset anyone from that part of the world but I have to admit I am dubious about ordering something like that for 50 quid especially as the vast majority of feedback is from a couple of ebayers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206007-thunderwolf-mounts/#findComment-2458426 Share on other sites

Hotspur
I like the Philipino models and Paulson's the best; the Russian ones aren't too shabby either. Mr. Dandy's look like the Canis monster-gerbil...uh, thunderwolf. Don't let them tell you otherwise. They obviously had so much trouble delivering anywhere near on time and got so much terrible feedback as a result they decided to just change accounts and start over. They should absolutely be "helping you out at no charge".. All that said. It's a great product at a price you can't beat, so as long as everyone gets their wolves eventually, I'll probably buy theirs too. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206007-thunderwolf-mounts/#findComment-2458533 Share on other sites

Prot
For those asking, I did get the Filipino Wolf Mounts, all 5. The seller has some negative feedback, but in my opinion he is just over whelmed. I think he probably makes the most popular set, and he is struggling to keep up (just my opinion though). It took me 2 months to receive my order, but I did receive it. The mounts were somewhat beat up. Like typical resin it is brittle, and I would suggest if you order them that you be prepared to do some green stuff repair work, and be prepared to wait. But the sculpts are still my favorite, and they look fantastic. Also I got base work included with mine that slide on top of the basic bases. This helps to make the unit really stand out, and gives them a little more height, putting them a little bit closer in stature to Canis (which I like). So be forewarned. They are -great- pieces IMHO, but it will take a while to get them.
