Dark Rage
Hey all, I decided to start up a WiP thread for all my WiP while posting all my completed stuff for my consecrators in the DA sub-forum from now on, first project in here though isn't for me but for someone here on the B&C. So I am going to create a character based on the armour design of this guy which was created by Greyall who I hope doesn't mind me using his awesome artwork interpretation for this. http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2012/310/0/9/imperial_fists___pramus_kholosk_by_greyall-d5k5wz3.jpg Started using one of my mark 1 casts as the base and redesigned the body, also started working on converting one of the shoulders to a similar design which I should be able to post soon, also the launcher is an addition. Progress so far. http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/Progress1.jpg DR

Dark Rage
Thanks for the comments @Kurgan the Lurker: I've always been a fan of the old RT era suits especially the Mk6 beakies and the mark 1 exo terminator. Some progress, sorry about picture was from my phone will try and take a better pic later with some more progress. http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/Progress.jpg DR
Olis
Ooh, another Type C by DR - how do you plan to model that plasma weapon? Is a Devastator Plasma Cannon involved?
Dark Rage
The armour concept is based on the artwork but the weapons will be a thunder hammer, combi bolter and grenade launcher but if I were to do that plasma it would have to be the dev plasma yes. the launcher was taken off for the moment to better gauge how to fit the shoulders onto it. Dark Rage
Update, seeing how the shoulders look together, going to have to try and fit the inner shoulder pad within them some how. http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/MP1.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/MP3.jpg http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/MP2.jpg C&C welcome DR

Hyaenidae
XIV is perfect, man. I get a bit more excited every time you add to this dude, I can't wait to see him finished. The leg armour really turned out nice; I love the layered effect. Keep it up brother!
Dark Rage
Painted up a new test model on the mark 1, wanted to see how the new helm turned out with paint on it. The eyes on the old helm were made by pushing the greenstuff in to shape eyes but the new one has had greenstuff shaped around the eyes to make them look slightly bigger and more like lenses. New http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/Mark1PiP.jpg Old http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/SDC10001-2.jpg

Dark Rage
Hey all, Little update on heathen's terminator, decided to try making a diff shoulder, thought the other one seemed to big, not tall, it just seemed to point out to much on the sides, want to try and make the shoulders as close to the artwork as possible and also be able to accommodate the launcher on the torso. http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj150/o0_Darkeh_0o/20131213_2350271.jpg Shoulder progress will probably be tomorrow C&C welcome. Dark Rage
Hey all, thanks for the replies, some progress on the terminator and also some progress on a new project, I had a Master of the Ravenwing lying around that I bought a while ago for quite cheap, was also my first finecast model and I was a bit disappointed in the quality but I wont go into that since I ended up cutting it up after seeing a design of the Bullock variant, don't know the details but it looks like a predecessor or successor to the Corvex so I wanted to make some for my Consecrators. Dark Rage
YAY! Jetbikes are awesome. Where did you get that front part? The front is a cast of the original front plate of Sammael's Corvex jetbike. I sanded of the eagle, filled in the gap where the eagle body goes and mounted a storm bolter under the front then made a cast. Using the rest of the parts to make a scimitar version for my Sammael count as.
Natanael
Smart man. It looks very nice. How did you cast it? I mean, can I do that with instamold? If so, I'm gonna have a squad of jetbikes coming up sometime this spring =)
