So after a long time I finally finished another Raven Guard model: the Primarch himself

I like how you used the fact that Corax used the Korvidine Pinions as a weapon to inspire the blood on them

 

Only thing that seems off about it to me is Corax is one where his skin really should be as pale as possible, since it was his gene-seed the rest of the Raven Guard got that trait from.

Thanks! I actually went back and toned down the blood a bit so it didn't look like he flew through an entire army :P

 

As for his skin tone, I know its not super pale, but I was worried it would look too much like the white of his armour the paler I went, so I stuck with his current tone, which at the very least gives the model a nice focal point.

Those are actually my buddy Crablezworth's, we were using them as terrain for that particular game; I'd have to ask him

Slowly starting to paint up some Primaris from First Blood in Raven Guard colours. Went for the same style as Corax and the two Dark Fury I painted up months ago, and I really love the result, even though my photography skills really brings out the grey in them. I'm particularly in love with the reivers as it combines my Raven Guard paint scheme with my Night Lords brutality.

 

Intercessor was done first a few days ago, and I got to say its easy to lose track of the scale...until you match them up.

 

 

The Reiver is perhaps my favorite new model as I said.
