extra inch of movement and i imagine their guns will have the assault rule at least, so on average 11" move and still able to shoot -

Honestly I think the space wolf terminator wave will be end of April, maybe May. generic assault terminators I think will be much later in the year -

my theory is a little reversed, I'm thinking its possible that tactical squads will go and we'll see a new intercessor kit with the next marine codex. If that happens, I could see wolves losing access to the two standard intercessor units. Like they didnt have tacticals previously. -

Whilst Blood Angel players may lament, you should just bask in the glory of your release :) It's looking very exciting! Also remember that rumours are rumours, and Valrak said many times there was a Blood Angel Terminator Captain coming, but it never came, so the other things listed for wolves aren't guaranteed (though I imagine they're very likely in this case!) Both blood claws and grey hunters are excellent. I'm interested to see what it means for wolves use of intercessors long term. -

Im honestly shocked nobody has made STLs for BA intercessor upgrades. (as in, shins, torso fronts) as that alone would help elevate the existing intercessors. People have done it for the terminators.

I still legitimately think the Sanguinary Guard are good at being what they're meant to be, I even think they'd be good for doing sergeants for assault intercessors or captains. As a jump unit, they were never going to have the utility a rank and file style kit could though. (though i do agree that a little more variety in them beyond the bare heads, would be nice) As for BA tacticals, I've (eventually) come around to your thought process on them, for me their bling was a bit more understated than the death company kit and realistically would have been excellent if replicated for intercessors now. Importantly, I think a BA intercessor kit would have had a mix of poses, more like the grey hunters have (so some running, some walking, some stood still). I'd even say they could have had both types of arms even (bolt rifle and BP/CS) in a single box and it would have been fine. In some ways I think the different poses (ideally exemplifying that even our shooty intercessors are more aggressive) would be more important than details, but understated details like a few knee pads, different chest ornamentation and a few heads and backpacks would have gone a LONG way for us. Now... obviously the actual REASON crusader squads, blood claws and grey hunters got kits, where BA and DA didn't get an intercessor kit is because the former are actual distinct units, with distinct options, where for us its "just" appearance, so harder to justify for GW no doubt. But it doesn't change that it kinda sucks and would be nice for us to have a bit more in the way of visual identity.

I think our characters are great still, with no real exceptions. So no complaints there i actually still like our sanguinary guard after making them BUT should have had a bit more variety, some alternative heads and maybe some different leg designs or torso designs. Both things I’ve fixed myself with mine. I don’t really care about the wings personally, though I do have some alternative winged backpacks (tortuga bay) I was going to experiment with. i don’t even mind our upgrade sprue, it’s a solid upgrade sprue, but, it’s really only useful for death company, the bare heads are a bit too bestial to look good on regular models for the most part, and it could have done with a couple more helmets as @DemonGSides has said in the past but I think we definitely needed another kit at least. Logical option would have been a BA intercessor kit, with a mix of more static and aggressive poses, and a bit of ornamentation to the same level as the wolf kits (a lot less than our old one, but having chalices and blood drops on the wing designs for the chest, some greave and knee details here and there etc)

Both blood claws and grey hunters look to be broadly speaking easy to convert to not be wolves yeah. A little scraping will go a long way -

Well this is a fantastic release. im incredibly annoyed about death company right now though lol. plus side, the blood claws and grey hunters mostly look eminently convertible to not be wolves -

Honestly one of my favourite things with a lot of the newer necromunda models is that they look like they are survivalists. A space marine is no different, whilst he could sleep on the floor, why should he. He has supplies and tools to keep him alive and its awesome.
