  1. I haven't seen it posted in the forum anywhere else, although some people seem to know of the company already, so I decided to setup a thread, since the range of miniatures from Wargames Atlantic seems to be expanding quite fast. Here is their shop: https://wargamesatlantic.com/ They have a mix of historical, fantasy and Sci-Fi ranges, which for the most part seem to be roughly compatible, as I have seen conversions using a mix of historical figures with Sci-Fi ones, for example. It is all hard plastic, the sprues have lots of spare parts and the kits are quite cheap, especially if bought in the multi-box deals they provide. They currently ship from the UK, the US and Australia (company is based in the US and production is done in China). Retailers that stock them are still quite few, but the number is increasing regularly and at least in Europe they ship rather fast, if you buy directly from their shop. Their sci-fi range is called Death Fields and could prove of interest to AM/IG, GSC and potentially Mechanicus, depending on what they add next. Nothing for aliens or SM at the moment, but there are plenty of alternatives for those anyway. Examples of their kits: https://wargamesatlantic.com/collections/demo-collection/products/raumjager-infantry-box-set?variant=20081465983074 https://wargamesatlantic.com/collections/demo-collection/products/les-grognards?variant=31187238944866 They seem very active on their social media pages and regularly gather feedback and show what is coming next, for example dwarvish guards: And fantasy/Sci-Fi spiders: Both the spiders and the dwarves should be released sometime in August.
  2. Link The chaps over at Reptilian Overlords have been working on a new template base set of various regiments recently. They've just released the not-Cadian stuff, and there's a few others coming in the background like not-Krieg and so on.
  3. Hello guys and gals! I have in the last few months started producing 3d printed terrain for use in 28mm miniature games in my spare time and have put some of these items up for sale on eBay. I have recently cut back at work to focus on various personal projects so there will be fairly frequent updates to this thread. The range is quite basic currently, but I have big plans to expand in the next 6 months with much more detailed and larger kits which will initially focus on human terrain before moving on to some xenos orientated bits and pieces. I am happy to hear suggestions on any particular pieces of terrain people would like produced and welcome any and all feedback on existing products. 4. I've updated my Shapeways store with lots of new weapons for anyone looking for parts to convert their models with. All of the new parts are weapons, some based off old Rogue Trader-era weapons, some newer. There are also more parts for the Angry Marine players added as well! Check them out here: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/wulfsheade-miniatures?sort=newest Here's a pic so you can see some of what's been added:
  5. Yes, the best Kickstarter in the universe is back! We hope to see you there, so that Nun shall stop us reaching the target! We are also giving special discounts for our existing cast miniatures Nuns with Laserguns range, as part of the Kickstarter! - The Team @ TMG Today's Update:
  6. A rather timely pre-order has gone up today, the Frag Launcher. http://anvilindustry.co.uk/The-Armoury/Heavy-Weapons/frag-launcher-grenade-cannon-heavy-weapon http://anvilindustry.co.uk/image/cache/catalog/Anvil/Weapons/Frag Launcher/FragCannonRender-400x400.jpg Will be shipping next Friday. Probably of interest to those bemoaning the awkwardness of acquiring multiples of a new Deathwatch weapon. They may also interest those of our 30k brethren who you use Destroyers and fancy some Rad missile launchers without going the Forgeworld route. They've also added a Quake Gun to the Exo-Lord armoury and a quake attachement to the modular, magnetisable Lance Carbine: http://anvilindustry.co.uk/The-Armoury/Specialist-and-Energy-Weapons/quake-cannon http://anvilindustry.co.uk/image/cache/catalog/Anvil/Weapons/quake/newton-eg-800x800.jpg http://anvilindustry.co.uk/The-Armoury/Specialist-and-Energy-Weapons/Lance-Carbine http://anvilindustry.co.uk/image/cache/catalog/Anvil/Weapons/lance-carbine/lance-carbine-sprue-3q-800x800.jpg The regiments range has also had a bunch of modular heavy weapons released. Far too many to start dropping pictures of, but the following are incuded - Tesla Cannon, Heavy Grenade Launcher, Autocannon, Phase Cannon and Mortar alongside a range of tripods, gun carriages and gun shields. http://anvilindustry.co.uk/Regiments/regiments-heavy-support-weapons
  7. Thought to share these here. Vanguard Miniatures are primarily oriented at producing 6mm models, but also have some space ship stuff. Their Tusculum Nova range makes up for fine Imperial Guard and Marine proxies whilst those who want proxies for their Titans and mechanicum would probably go for their Cybershadows. Some teasers of upcoming 6mm scaled elites:
  8. Inspired by a discussion regarding the Space Wolves in other parts of the forum where I gave the opinion that the SW, both in 40k and 30k, are really only Viking-ish when it comes to their internal nomenclature and some of their names. Both regarding their looks and warfare are they much more fantasy barbarians and totem-warriors than anything Viking-ish. So I was wondering if you wanted to do a viking-ish SW (or other chapter) force, where could you get bits? And I mean here by viking-ish inspired by the real stuff from the Viking Age not pop-cultural viking stuff that don't have historical basis*. That means that Kromlech's Sons of Thor bits or THE CUSTOM BIT's "Vikings" don't count since they are fantasy barbarians- and/or totem-warrior-ish much more than viking. * I would say that stuff inspiered by the Vendel Period and Kievan Rus' is also of interest.
  9. As the title say: I'm looking for third party Space Marine parts that are Central Asian-ish or South Asian-ish. Do anybody know of any developer?
  10. Some of you may remember Artel W from earlier this year when they put their inventory on sale before taking certain designs down. Well they've been pretty busy over the last few months. A bunch of recent new designs prompted me to start yet another N&R thread for a company whose work I like: *Broken images deleted*
  11. Hello guys! I've recently opened a shop on Shapeways where I produce some customized bits for 28mm miniatures. The range is wide, you will able to find weapons, backpacks, helmets, kit for special unit conversions and soon even kits for vehicles customization. I hope you will visit my shop and, if you find something you like, you buy something. And do not forget I'm open for custom requests. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/the-reliquary Also, do not forget to visit my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TheReliquary/
  12. Last month, MRM announced they would be suspending shipping to the UK for an indefinite period of time due to VAT changes - today, they have announced that the same suspension will apply to the EU as well come April. Other companies have already announced they'll be terminating shipping to the UK and EU in light of the recent / upcoming changes, and you can be certain that many more will follow in short order. On a more positive note, they did just announce some new pieces! Sadly, they aren't accessible to a good chunk of the community now.
  13. Raging Heroes - Lady Melith The link for these can be found here. She is a suitable proxy for a Chaos Daemon Herald of Slaanesh (or possibly, The Masque). She was part of the TGG2 Kickstarter so I can't comment on any normal delivery time or packaging (feel free to let me know in the replies and I'll update this bit with delivery info, etc). However, this is how she turned up (and with a 25 mm round bases): Bag: On to the models, there's some flash as expected with resin. Detail is crisp and you can see evidence of the circular mould technique they use:: Front: Back: Next up are a few individual shots showing points of interest. Zoom: Here she is trimmed and based: Finally, we have a comparison picture of Raging Heroes' offering placed alongside some of GW's.
  14. Raging Heroes - Mantis Warriors, Troops The link for these can be found here. These were part of the TGG2 Kickstarter so I can't comment on any normal delivery time or packaging (feel free to let me know in the replies and I'll update this bit with delivery info, etc). However, this is how they turned up (and with some 25 mm round bases): Bag: On to the models, there's some flash as expected with resin. Detail is crisp and you can see evidence of the circular mould technique they use:: Front: Back: All the models are very light and delicate, but not flimsy. The resin itself is firm and responds well to cleanup. Zoom: The pieces are all ball & socket joints meaning you can pose them how you wish. For this review, here's one I knocked up: The tab for the slottabase fits all the way across, but I will need to smooth it out with liquid green stuff. Finally, we have a comparison picture of Raging Heroes' offering placed alongside some of GW's. Edit: Added a shot of the full squad showing off multiple poses
  15. Kromlech just released some running bionic legs to add to their already quite extensive Legionary conversion parts:. http://bitsofwar.com/home/233-space-legionary-bionic-running-legs.html http://bitsofwar.com/823-thickbox_bosky/space-legionary-bionic-running-legs.jpg Going forward I'll attempt to add every B&C compatible Kromlech release to this thread.
  16. Just like it says on the tin-- 3rd party bits/model manufacturer Maxmini has reopened its doors, presumably after being bought by a new partner. https://maxmini.eu/
  17. On top of their existing Astartes range, Liber Daemonica has just announced a slew of conversion pieces (heads, to begin with) for Imperial Guard and Traitor Guard. They are staggeringly gorgeous. He's got a quick turn-around, so I'm excited to see these when they come out!
