1. Most of the models have no heels, so no heels please. 2. boob plate, i think it's fine. the chest section of SoB look like they're corsets anyway. 3. bobs, yea haha i like the haircut.

My takeaway from his interview is he essentially poured melta on the biggest targets and used the Seraphim and Celestine to snipe characters w charges. The vehicles could assault and the passengers shot out. Super good. If that gets faqd or errata'd we can still do it but the passengers will have to get out of the vehicle.
-
Arco flagellants solve the problems that flamers wish they did, according to him. They can delete an entire conscript block in one charge.
-
I put Seraphim on 32s, Celestine on the 40 (i think it's 40?), and everyone else on 25s.

War of the Beast

Yup, the Sisters of Silence disappeared after the Horus Heresy. Some guy got into contact with a group of them during a war against Orks and they mentioned that they hated what the Imperium had become, citing it as the reason why they disappeared in the first place. EDIT: This exchange happened during the War of the Beast. From the Lexicanum: "By M32, only a single force of fifty Sisters were known by Imperial authorities, dwelling on the on the world of Nadiries. These stated that the Imperium had discarded them out of mistrust following the Heresy. Despite being fiercely loyal to the Emperor and Primarchs, this last bastion of the Sisterhood expressed disdain for the modern Imperium, stating they would rather see it burn than be of aid. Nonetheless, Lord Commander of the Imperium Koorland was able to convince them to help in against the Orksduring the War of the Beast" Of course, with Gathering Storm, we have evidence that not all of the SoS felt this way as they still had a bunch of them on the Black Ships. EDIT 2: RG re-gathered the remaining SoS and had them fight for the Imperium once more. Was mistaken haha

I was inventory-ing my minis and ran into a box of Bloodletters. I made a Gandalf face (I have no memory of this box) because prior to the latest Death Guard release I had no non-imperium armies.

With the ministorum priests no longer being necessary I am reconverting them into Canonesses (canoni?) 2 generic, 2 combi, 1 eviscerator. My gunslinging one has a lot of battle experience and will be relegated to a shelf until she is legal again. :D She deserves her rest!

I see, makes sense. Would you have an example off the top of your head of a unit that allows double pistols? In any case, time to reconvert. What's our consensus, btw? Combi-weapon? Combi plasma sounds incredibly tasty rn.

Hold up, I've been under the impression that I could replace both my bolt pistol and my chainsword with a pistol. I'm still running an akimbo inferno pistol Canoness. The exact wording is: This model may replace either its bolt pistol or its chainsword with a weapon from the Ranged Weapons or Pistols list. Now that I'm reading it, is there actually anything stopping me from replacing both pistol and chainsword with dual combis?

I'm on the blob side here. Unless you're packing flamers or meltas on the dominions. We have a dialogus to help mitigate the effects of morale, and the hospitaler/imagifier setup lets us resurrect two models at a time. We necron now boys! If my opponent wants to throw a disproportionate amount of firepower at the blob he can be my guest. That said, they are built for different jobs. The blob can hold a single objective far better. If I'm using doms for objective grabbing i'd rather not spend points on them, though.
-
will probably mean that you never go first. i like BSS blobs visually, however. really nice to look at.
-
I'm currently running 3 flamer/combiflamer doms and 3 melta/combimelta doms. I like autohits over massed shots, but that's just me. Also don't let that 8" range fool you. Getting into rapid fire range (12") is roughly the equivalent of advancing with flamer dominions (d6" + 8")

Adding Power Axes to Dominion Superiors seem like an OK thing to do - if you're shooting tanks and they don't blow up, charge it. :P
