Interesting to see a date for Era of Ruin , that looks worth picking up.

Did you hear anything about what books, if any, this 3rd edition launch boxset would come with?

Apparenly, as per Valrak, big boxset of Salamanders and Iron Warriors and new models, gun emplacement. End of Spring/Summer. Curious what kind of books will be released with it.

Curious to know if anybody thinks Fehervari will have something new coming out this year?

So rules for this are already in an existing book?

Cant say I am surprised that the BL Celebration is a total buzzkill, as that is fully in line with everything of the last 2 years ( or is it 3 years by now?). The December preview also shows less and less each year, and the Celebration is also less and less every year.

Quick question for you guys, Fire Caste seems to have a really good reputation, what is that that makes this book so interesting?

Love how he designs the plasma weapons on the marines, the speed of the marines with jump packs looks exceptional in this animation, so swift and fast. Design of the Orcs is great too, and that scenes of tanks on a highway firing at Tyranids too, and those Tyranids at full speed looked great. Also nice shot of the dreadnought, looked very real.

Definitely interesting to finally see a novel on the Tempestus Scions.

It could be they are deliberately slow rolling it because of end of the Siege being a huge event with a lot of backlash and they want to let it breathe a bit before they bring out this and the Scouring. Valrak expecting announcements about the Scouring at the BL celebration, though of course that part is ( informed) speculation.

The Damnation omnibus definitely looks like a must have considering all that it will contain.

115 eur for the Primarchs Portraits. Thats a lot more than what I was expecting. They are a nice size. But that is a massive amount of money for it.

Exactly. Its even mentioned in the credits. Yes dude but that is not what you said, you said that this show was actually made by the same guy who did Astartes. Which is taking it entirely beyond what we know to be true at this point. As for the Cultists not being enough of a threat, I stand by it. Opinions may vary, but personally I dont like when Astartes are portrayed as hyper invincible, it derails my suspension of disbelief.

It was not made by the guy who did Astartes, was it? We dont know that, so why claim that? We only know he was part of the production team, no clue on the size of his role. Definitely still psyched for Astartes 2 though. As for story...it doesnt fall short compared to the other shorts in Secret Level, but I thought it would have a bit more than this. The fight with the heretics is great, the fight with the Tzeentch servants in the dark, not so much and then the face off with the sorcerer was for me an underwhelming ending, I would have preferred any other variety of actual fight with him, that they could have chosen, instead of them being frozen in time and being picked off one by one. Also I felt that the Chaos Cultists were dismissed too easily, they presented no threat in this animation. They didnt kill or even injure a single Astartes and were dismissed with great ease.
