"Disrupt the Enemy Lines!" Part 19

Well the next 500 points (1000 pts of HH done!) are done minus some chipping, weathering and black base rings.      Next 500 pts (1500 pts) is already started and should be done quickly but I need to double check my 2000 pt list to see what I am planning on taking. This month, October, is super busy between events on multiple weekends and working weekends when I am not "out of town". League game has been delayed.  My Opponent has to work OT the next few weeks, so we are postponing it to next week. So 11 days to get models done.      Assault Squad is getting closer to being done, bases, metallics on weapons, glow effects, highlights, touch ups, decals and weathering. Got more work done Friday than planned  but got no work done yesterday like I wanted too    Going to do this in reverse.... I was on Kid Duty Saturday as wife ran errands and upon returning home she was not feeling well. So I was watching the kids and in charge of dinner. So hobby time was zero. My wife and me are finally recovering from Nurgle's touch....I know we got it from the kids, who did not get sick. Stupid back to school illness.......   So Friday after work I sat down to work on my Athoria Month 2 models. I am adding Jump Centurion, another Assault squad and a Sicaran.  Part of my plan is also get Next Months additon started.    Sicaran is done and has been done since last year:   I was able to build the assault squad.

Well after a long break, I have returned. Raptors vs Ravenguard

So every time a new edition my Raptors get kicked down the stairs.  My Raptors started out as 10th Co with support, 9th saw it adding a ton of Phobos as scouts were not troops. Now 10th ed is upon us and Phobos is not battle line. I was really planning on making my Leviathan, the Blood Angel Combat Patrol, and Boarding Patrol into Ravenguard.  Currently I am leaning towards making them Raptors. So I found out I have 20 Sisters of Silence and the BL Character model.....Not bad. Gonna do a squad of 15 with execution blades and the Character as my Abysmal HQ.   On the Ravenguard army front I have be list building and setting up the lists as different Companies, such as 901st Reconnaissance Company or the 509th Armored Company (TANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!). Victory or Death..............

So new GF insists I hang out with my Friend so I was able to go play a 1500 pt game of Horus Heresy vs my Friends Iron Warriors this weekend. Sadly I conceded due to loss of units that could hurt his Kratos and Contemptor. Dark Furies were awesome but needed to be shielded from shooting.  Once in range they were shot up by Shrapnel Bolters.  Jump Praetor fought well but ended up dying in a challenge to his Praetor.    I got home yesterday and started reorganizing the Pile of Shame.
