"In the embrace of great Nurgle......"

Kids back went back to school in early August and well it finally got me. Papa Nurgle's embrace.  I have been fighting this cold (just a a cold) it for almost a week and on the mend but man I hate being sick. Plus having no energy, working OT, and trying to rest has been rough.    I am hoping to be back to being healthy soon.

Pardon our dust part 5

Well 1 more set of shelves to arrive and it will be close to being done and that set is for a Vallejo Metal color bottles.     I ordered 2 White Game Envy's Lucent Art Lights     Here is the area now...                 I do have some Alex cabinets and Kallax Shef coming in from Ikea for under desk storage and to serve as book Shelf....for my HH Rulebooks    My old Set

Pardon Our Dust part 4

Ok this project is taking far too long....   But it is nearing completion. I ordered all my paint racks last night so they should be here next week or so. I had to move my works station from the wall to the middle of the room because i could not get the desk to fit          I need more lights. The upside is I can move stuff around and all my paints, weathering, basing stuff should be right behind me and until my paint racks arrive I have to make

Been quiet for a little bit with work and other non hobby things. My Ikea order arrived along with some Etsy stuff and last night I got around to hanging the mounts until Drill died....one more mount to go too      But Skadis Wall is up now to put up the shelves and move furniture around and ordering all my paint racks.

Pardon our dust part 2

Well I continue working on my hobby area and hit another snag.         The snag- the point was to hang paint racks and I don't enough room.  So new plan, take these down and hang them in kid's room and then upgrade to Ikea Skadis.  My back wall is 84" x 42" and the other is 39"  long.  so I can have it hang below my desk and my entire L section covered. Order will have to happen soon as sale ends Sept 1st.    Other stuff to order like paint racks

Changes are a foot.....for hobby area

Well I finally bought my new self healing cutting matt.      Well my original was 18" x 24" and I was planning on getting the same one but there was some confusion between my wife and me so I end up with the 24" x 36". Plus $21.00 off is huge bonus.  Unfortunately 12' depth proved to be a slight issue and means desk has to redone.  As my wife said "you need more shelves and for your desk to be rearranged."   Looking at Michaels.com I found these  but was 40% off. RIP Self Healing cutting mat....You did your job....

Well it is a sad day...my self healing cutting mat is done for...once I buy a new one.  All because a Bottle of Extra Thin Super glue cracked in multiple places and glued stuff down.    So went to my FLGS that is closing at the end of the month, which will be another blog post in itself, to say goodbye to the owner and pick up some debonder.  While purchasing the debonder, one of the employees said Extra Thin Super Glue bottle crack on you? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like working on models and going to move something and discovering your super thin super glue bottle somehow had a leak and now stuff is glued to your self healing cutting mat including your ceramic coffee mug paint cup.....   Damage is fully unknown at this point but brand new Army Painter paint pot is glued down.    Its stuff....but the self healing mat hurts if I cant use super glue debonder.

OMG.......Store #2 of the Honeymoon. WARHAMMER WORLD, such an unreal experience. The exhibit hall, the gaming area, the store, and even with Bugman's being remodeled it was still cool thing.      The Rhino, the Space Marine statue, and LT. Titus such a site to see in person. Warhammer- Belfast

So while on a Tour of Northern Ireland, the tour stopped in Belfast for about 2 hours self guided tour and lunch. After Lunch at Hellcat Maggie's, the wife and I were about start walking around Belfast and I made a joke that there should be Warhammer store near by. The planet of Khymara Prime was quiet. While the Hive cities may had some light activity to them, the main city, Khymara Prime Proper, was quiet. Khymara Prime Proper consisted of Imperial Adminstratum buildings, Ecclesiarch buildings and an Adeptus Arbites Precient and the older ruined Imperial buildings.
