Hi folks,

I needed some distraction from the black robes of my (populous and numerous) Night Goblins for the World that Was. Time to resume work on the AdMechs, starting with the Servitor clade and the kitbashed Seer I prepared in Sept. It is a small step into coming back into the fray of cybernetical sociopaths, knowing that I still have some models I initially bought for CtA25 but did not unbox yet.

The Servitors have been painted as per my usual colour scheme. But this time I musta dmit that the blue pyjama is not necesarilly giving the best outlook. It is globally OK but I feel like the scheme that works on the Skitarii is a little bit out of phase on the Servitors. Probably because it lacks of the balance brought by the trenchcoats.. The same goes witht the Kataphrons, that were balanced by the tracks' colours. Her, well, I dunno. Let judge by yourself:

And some close ups:

But who will benefit from this retinue? Well, what about another Seer? Of course I have more than I need so this one is a kind of extra:

The pic is not that clear and you probably do not see the whole model. I made a bicolour scheme: bottom (legs and torso in fact) is a bronze (dry brushed) while the arms and paultrons are red with gold trim. It is a distinctive scheme vs. what I am used to apply for my Mechanicum priesthood. The idea behind is that this guy is an ordo reductor affiliate. Smashing hammer, laser cutter to break into fortifications and a pet servo skull...

But I then met this piece of fluff: Ordo Machinum — Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum

Which might be a seed for building up a small allied party I am thinking about for a while: this guy would become an augmented Inquisitor leading a small party of Deathwatch Marines as an elite force fighting (and surveying) the Mechanicum explorator force...

I have some spare models gathered over the time that might be completed with a few Necromunda models in order to get a small retinue.

It is time to search for these models and remind where I stored them last time...

See you.

@Bouargh These are some lovely models. Good joice of colours - I like the bunch!

Well, thanks. It is nice to receive feedback, especially as I am not that convinced before hand my the blue pyjamas with crimson armour plates... But indeed, they look perfectly coordinated with the colours of the rest of my models.

Nah, I get your concerns beforehand but everything works well, especially with the yellow/gold (based on the photos, I'm not sure if it's a metallic colour or not) sprinkled here and there, as a tertiary colour.

Somehow I never realised that you dabble in Mechanicus, too.

Its a project I have started as a new year niew army in 2023. Yet I play it very little. Most of my games were at Patrol size, atm, although I could reach a 3000pts games quite easily.

I am almost at the end of my targetted "ideal army"* with a log of 1 Skatros, 2 Ironstriders ballistrarii, 3 Serberis, 5 Pteraxii, 5 Sicarians and 1 Marshall (Axiarch). I'd like adding a second Dunerider transport (eventually) and tooling up a Mech tainted Inquisitorial Retinue (the Arcuitor set would rock in that respect) too.

The latter is most likely to see the light as I am 2 models close of reaching it.

* which can be summarized as "getting enough units to have a very adaptative army list at 2000/3000 pts showing off different faces everytime"
