Hey all, Ikka here. I'm starting up a little project that I've been thinking about foe a while- a small portion of Night Lords that will narratively be mercenaries working with my Ebon Word WB force. This blog will document their lore and the WIP process that I'll be going through to make them. It won't, hopefully, distract me from my Votann army/blog, as this is going to be a more hobby/painting intensive project than the Votann, whom I will be speedpainting.

As a note, I'm using/used generative AI for certain portions of this project, mainly for the artwork as I am not an artist. I used AI to start off a concept for the NL, as I had something in my brain but really couldn't express it correctly (and to be honest, had been up way too long and was fuzzy-brained from lack of sleep/caffiene). From the AI's basic outline I edited and re-worked elements until I had something that was acceptable, and then added onto it to make it my own. I understand the issues with AI and if you don't agree with using it I understand, feel free to not look at my stuff here. From here on out, aside from a character pic or two, there will be no AI, just dumb human modeling and painting.
