Where's the Baneblade?

It's not complete as such a Valkyrie. So i don't put them in completed forces.

Conversely, there are also others who paint significantly less in the same timeframe and with less detail.  
 

What matters is your personal satisfaction with the progress. I think what you have gotten done in the past year is great and more than table top worthy! I’d have no complaints playing a game against this force.
 

Some of the quality of painting aspects comes naturally with time and practice.  But…that has to be measured against your personal goals.

I'm really fine with them all. 

I think the army is coming together well. How many points are you aiming for?

Idk,  Right now it's around 2200 pts. At least once I painted them all. I don't like our current epic heroes sculpts, and already have all models I wanted except 2 more commissars. Maybe 3500-4000 is a good goal, though I'm waiting a vechicles range refreshed. My old army was also an IG and idk if I wanna repeat it. 15 year of IG only. 

Next year I wanna focus on my nids or maybe hypothetical SM forces. Don't know yet what chapter it's gonna be, it's a good chance I build a homebrew one. With proper lore heraldry and some unique quirk.

Everything depends on my hobby budget next year. If I get full bonus it's gonna be nice pile of grey plastic. If not , well I always can repaint some of older units to new standard.
