Well... what a dynamic start this league has seen!

And they're off! Look at them go!

You wouldn't believe that January is the slow and cold post Grot-mas month of getting back into normal life when looking here! We've seen hobby action and drama from all corners! 

Inspired by the lining up of the first few competitors, the league has swollen in size to 9 players! Let's give a warm welcome to @Brother Anderson, @Brother Carpenter and @Scaraman2112

In first place this month we've seen @Brother Anderson pulling ahead with a whopping 90pts! Check out his thread here to see exactly what he has been getting up to! Quite the dark horse of the race! For his tremendous efforts, he was even awarded the coveted monthly excellence award for a bonus 10pts! What a hobby haul! Some of his pieces below!

Nabbing the monthly award for the most epic photo has gone to @Grotsmasha for this scenic shot of his piece! This went down particularly well with the Arena Commentator who repeatedly exclaimed "That was me when I was a wee lad!"

As for me? I made good on my pledge to finish one unit of Black Templar's Sword Brethren with the included Castellan.

Not everyone was able to complete something in time for the end of this month, but life can be that way sometimes. The League is Long, and nobody is secure in victory until the end! We look forward to seeing @ggergnayr's almost finished War Dogs,  @Valkyrion's minotaur space marines and @Lathe Biosas's project joining the fray soon! 

What's next?

Everyone is pushing ahead for the month of February now, to get more minis painted - and maybe... we may see some games?
