About This Club

What happens when a group of Warhammer Hobbyists get together online to participate in this year's White Dwarf Bunker Bingo? What mayhem, chaos and xeno-sorcery shall spill forth? Get involved here! Bunker Bingo is a score card that is tracked by a hobbyist throughout the year to record their painting and gaming achievemenrs, in competition with his/her fellow painters and players, to amass their forces and conquer/consume the galaxy (or their pile of grey!). This club is for participant's in this year's Bunker Bingo Challenge, to share their score carss and evidence of achievements. The prize? Glory, and painted minis!
  1. What's new in this club
  2. REALLLLLLLLY gotta work on a lighting set up. One War Dog Brigand closer to completion. also, my DeLaque box came in so that’ll be a nice set to paint on here next.
  3. Looking Good Its always the mid-point of batch painting that is the hardest bit motivationally. Usually about the point where I'm starting final Layers and Highlights, I stop batching switch to completing one model at a time. For me, it really curbs the motivational hump.
  4. In the week that's passed since my last update, I feel like I've done a lot of painting around my commitments, but when I look at the update oic it doesn't feel that way! I have been batching five though, so across the five it's decent progress. I also spent most of this evening's painting time tidying up mistakes, as I am now moving onto the major washes step next!
  5. You might be painting slowly according to your own standards but the result is fantastic according to mine. Great job.
  6. There is a farseer in there too that came with the MTO, though I forgot to include it in the proof picture so I hadn't claimed it. Thank you for saying that, though while I'm not the best painter I do spend a lot of time doing it which means I've got a pretty high throughput; so I'm being strict with what I count towards the bingo total for myself.
  7. @Brother Anderson: rulewise, a Warlock Conclave being 2-4, and seen that you have 5 Warlocks minis, I wouldn't blame you if you claim 2 units for this entry: the full Seer council and a character walking solo... You could even count it for 3 units if the Seer is counted as a character/psyker entry too... It would boost up your stats and would be perfectly acceptable IMHO.
  8. 2 units! @Brother Anderson you are on fire! These are looking good, love the bases and the colour scheme!
  9. Second unit of the year done and my first xeno squad of 2026! I've been slowly amassing a Craftworld Lugannath force, I've got some more bathing in isopropanol at the moment so that may well be next up.
  10. Thank you! I wanted to do the WE mid heresy scheme but pure white sounds like hell, so I'm saying after a certain amount of blood no amount of washing will fully get rid of the stains
  11. @Brother Anderson I guess Nurglings are the way to go for Chaos Knights to have some tough small help, but I think I want to paint up some traitor guard as little footmen. Little purple or gold armored schmucks dodging around hahaha. That would be above mid pack palate cleanse. @mini_painting_mike Me too usually. I tried it with my stingwings and ended up just not painting them for like six months as they sat subassembled. I’m gonna try and knock out the assembled one today and we’ll see how much harder it is to do parts of it. Will report back.
  12. Dang, Marines on Bloodcrushers look sick as hell. Also I really like the off white WE armor color.
  13. That's one unit completed, three Bloodcrushers finished as my first unit of the year. Work continues on the Hell Blade conversion but it's going to be a bit of a slow burn I think, so I've made a start and primed the Eldar farseer and warlocks set that had an MTO last year. I figure I'll add my bingo card to the first post for ease of reference.
  14. I never have the patience for sub assemblies - bravo to you for doing it! It will lead to a better result in the end I'm sure!
  15. Nice one! Great to see some OOP bits here too! Thst sounds sensible to me I shall take it to the High Lords... *shuffle shuffle*
  16. Well, I've got my 3d printed carry case/display case to paint up... My Harakoni Warhawks are being assembled... I'm visiting the Warhammer store tomorrow for the Servitor - It will be a Servo-Sentry for my Kill Team (not a huge fan of the 4 legged model). Let's see... I have some Space Marines, but I can't decide how I want to build it, or what to buy (I have a push-fit Judiciar, Chaplain, 3 × Eradicators, 3 × Bladeguard Veterans, and an Bladeguard Ancient).
  17. It's cracking value but I definitely recommend having something else to do in the middle of them haha. Sons of Mammon is a perfect name for a band of gold War Dogs, that's fantastic
  18. I have been eyeballing that battle force box, they have one at a local game store tucked back on a shelf and I can’t justify the expense, YET. It would cut down on the magnetizing to be done hahaha. I am thinking of a Dreadblade squad instead of a house. Lots of gold, some purples and muted colors with a metallic black trim. Keeping the horns a bone white too, I think. Going with ‘Sons of Mammon’ for the name. Mentally thinking of them as a style of biker gang mercenary team pledged to Chaos Undivided.
  19. I'm glad you got on well with building them! I made the mistake of trying to build that battleforce of seven of them all at once: that way madness lies . Do they have a house they belong to?
  20. Alright, that’s two War Dogs primed, one sub assembled and one assembled, both primed and base coats started. hoping to shade some good today and layer the second. Aside from some fiddly small bits, these were much easier to build than I expected. A large amount of pieces was offset by the sheer size of them.
  21. Hi all, As a first job I will start with some ooP Epic stuff. There will be 2 Devastator cards btw. I am not too sure how it fits in the matrix, but I may propose that each Company accounts for a Battleline Entry and all the rest combined as an Elite Entry.
  22. They are indeed! They're MDF shapes and they're really cheap, I picked up a bag from AliExpress for for a couple of quid.
  23. While waiting for milliput to dry for the hell blade I converted up and primed some Bloodcrushers for my world eaters, I prefer having marines rather than bloodletters riding them because it ties them in to the rest of the army.
