I had a stab at painting this thunderhawk previously with an air brush (my first time using one) and things did not go well!! So after a few days of soaking in floor cleaner and scrubbing with a tooth brush I think it's time for another go. Plan is to re prime it with vallejo grey primer as this stuff seems to go on smooth and very thin, much nicer than the halfords auto primer rattle cans that I have used for most of my guys to date! I love the way forgeworld have painted their full size one and I want to try do something similar with the black markings, I love the shade of red they use aswell but have no idea how they do it so I will stick to my recipie, im also a bit limited with what paints I have available.
