New edition, new army...maybe?

So with the dawn of 11th edition Warhammer 40,000 coming this June. I have been pondering about maybe starting a new project. My Tyranids are basically done, I probably won't be adding more unless there's some drastic changes. My Space Marines and World Eaters are in playable states, they might get some additional stuff but I'm in no rush to complete them fully. My traitor guard are kinda in a holding pattern state. I ordered some non GW traitor guard infantry from game found (similar to Kickstarter) but those models haven't arrived yet, so I'm not yet committed to anything else yet until they do.

I also play Age of Sigmar, but not as often to warrant two armies. So one of them has to go. I'm saying good bye to my Ogres. I probably only played less than 5 games with them but they did build my confidence in painting faces. That means I will have much more space for a new project.

What I'm thinking is a biker/mechanized force. No space marine type army. As I already have World Eaters and Space Marines. So probably xenos. I have 4 ideas

An Ork Speed freeks army was my first idea, even before the new Wazdakka Gutsmek ride upon the scene. The idea of a mad max style vehicular mayhem army sounds cool. Although as of writing this post the cult of speed rules aren't stellar. Maybe the Armageddon release will give them a bump. Here's my 1000 plan for a cult of speed army:

2 Deffkilla Wartrikes

Warboss in Mega Armour

Battlewagon

11x Gretchin

2 Kustom Boosta-blastas

6x Meganobz

9x Warbikers

I have always liked playing the bad guys and who's bader than the drukhari? I played the "dark eldar" when 3rd edition but I didn't really gel with them. I was much younger and inexperience back then. I think a wych cult force with lots of reavers, hellions and Wyches in transports. Spectacle of spite seems to be the best fit and the rules are pretty good. Here my 1000pts plan for them:

2 Succubus

20 Wyches

18 Reavers

2 Raiders

1 Ravager

Then there's the aleldari. I have always liked the eldar design, especially when it comes to their vehicles. The Windrider host doesn't seem to have the best or the worst support rules wise. If I do go with these guys they will not be saim-hann red. I have painted too much red over the years. Here's my idea for the first 1000pts:

Farseer Skyrunner

12 Windriders

10 Fire Dragons

3 Shroud Runners

2 Falcons

Lastly, the genestealer cults. Now I have been toying with the idea of running my traitor guard as both Astra militarum and a genestealer cult force. Astra militarum when they are attackers and genestealer cult when they are a defender. I have some plans for a brood brothers list but if I want a mechanize biker list that means getting some atalan jackals, like a lot. It will all require a lot of kitbashing. Here's my idea:

Jackal Alphus

Primus

20 Neophyte Hybrids

20 Purestrain Genestealers (probably will be bloodletters)

30 Atalan Jackals

So those are my ideas, but I'm having a hard time settling on one of them. Of course open to other ideas, I haven't looked into Leagues of Votann they are a bit too space mariney in there aesthetic. The tau really don't have bikers. The necrons  have tomb blades but when you think of necrons I think big blobs of infantry not bikers and transports.

Feel free to post your ideas, are you starting a new army for 11th edition? How would you go about building a biker army?

Running traitor guard as genestealer cults had been an idea I've been playing with too: it definitely fits the uprising aspect you'd likely get with a chaos cult and there's loads of scope for conversions.

Orks speed freaks are likely to be a stable army very early. While drukharii may still change. The chaosy nature of orks is also appealling for its quite opened hobby and painting opportunities. Speed freaks would be my choice

I dislike orks....Former Crimson Fist player. But do the speed freaks look nice. Also they are not as fragile compared to the other 3 xenos forces listed.

A hard part is sourcing the Neophyte special/heavy weapons. The flamers and grenade launcher are easy enough. I did find some under slung lascannons for mining lasers. The seismic cannons are the hard part.

With my Tyranids last edition I was early with them. Being early also has its disadvantages. I'm kinda between Drukhari and Orks.
