Liber Exorcismus

I have been working on my Grey Knights, Inquisition, and Howling Griffons. I have been leaning at reducing my Howling Griffon planed forces and moving back them to back to Exorcists. I have a lot of models for Space Marines so having Multiple armies does make some sense. The ideas I keep having follow one of two ideas, Badab War or Grey Knight support. Here is what I am thinking.

  1. Chapter Name
  2. Founding Chapter
  3. Info
  4. Badab Ties
  5. Forces
  6. Probabilty

  1. Howling Griffons
  2. Ultramarine Successors
  3. Good amount of info
  4. Fought in Badab War
  5. Heavy Armor Units, (Terminators, land raiders, a scout squad)
  6. In Progress

  1. Raptors
  2. Raven Guard Successors
  3. Sneaky units, camo friendly
  4. Fought on Badab War
  5. Vanguard units. Sneaky units
  6. Not sure if I want to go back to this army.

  1. Exorcists
  2.  Imperial Fist Successors
  3. Plutonian Inquisitor Aligned (radical).  Daemon Fighters.
  4. Fought in Badab War
  5. Mix of units, Terminator squad and some Phobos units plus scouts, Maybe Armageddon Units
  6. I will have an army of them

  1. Red Hunters
  2. Unknown Founding Chapter
  3. Strong Inquisitorial Ties, Worship Emperor as a God
  4. Followed the Marines in the Penitent Crusade.
  5. Armageddon Units
  6. Possibility higher than others.

  1. Black Inculpators
  2. Unknown Founding Chapter
  3. No info on chapter
  4. No Ties to Badab War
  5. Armageddon Units
  6. Possibility low

I am torn between the Red Hunters and Exorcists. Both wear read armor and considering I have a lot of red in the Howling Griffons, I could do both but should not. Exorcists are Radical. Red Hunters serve the Inquisition, which I would have Imperial Agents and an Inquisitor in the army.  I think the Red Hunters are a viable choice for my Armageddon force.

Me votin' for the guys with I on their shoulderpads.  I like faithful marines. And they aren't the one you'll see often. And of course they fit better onto yours other forces.

So playing with the list builder for 1k 2k lists, and since Red Hunters do not list a Parent Chapter, I am looking at using Dark Angels for them.

My detachments would be:

Interrogation Conclave (1p)

Librarius Conclave (1p)

Darkflight Pursuit (1p at 2k)

So the army is about boosting Chaplains and Librarians, and Land Speeders.

So at 1k I’d run the Armageddon box (half the Intercessors would be exchanged for 5 assault intercessors), Armiger Helverin, Inquisitor and 6 model retinue.

2k add Bladeguard vets and ancient, 2nd assault intercessors squad, 2nd  intercessor squad, heavy intercessor squad, Storm Speeder Hammerstrike, Plasma Inceptors, scout squad, max out inquisition squad and add 2nd Armiger Helverin.

If I increase the army past 2k  it would be more chaplains and librarians.
