Please help me decide on a paint scheme for my Imperial Knights

I currently have seven Imperial Knight army concepts (eight, if you count me trying to figure out what House Steel of Titan would look like), and I know I can't realistically build all of them. I'm hoping the community can help me narrow the list down.

I don't own an airbrush, and my painting skills are fairly basic, so ease of painting is definitely a factor. Which of these do you think would look best on the tabletop? I'd also appreciate any ideas, suggestions, or criticisms.

#1 – Cadia Stands

A Freeblade Lance formed from the shattered remnants of Knight Houses destroyed during the 13th Black Crusade. The Knights use military-inspired colours such as tan and red, or tan and teal, with simple individual heraldry. Every Knight shares an olive drab pauldron bearing the symbol of the Cadian Gate.

#2 – The Revenant

1000070983.thumb.jpg.5ec12dd27f5c04383669e9453051c9c2.jpg

A ghostly Freeblade Lance of the dead that could be fielded as either Imperial or Chaos Knights. The army would be painted in the style of the Army of the Dead from *The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King*. (I'm even considering putting a green LED inside the Warlord.)

The backstory is that House Caladrius, a fleet-based Knight House, abandoned its duty during the 13th Black Crusade and was destroyed alongside Cadia.

Now, their spectral Knights appear across the Imperium to battle any foe, bound to an endless crusade of penance from which there can be no release.

When one of these Knights is destroyed, it simply fades away, leaving no trace it was ever there.

#3 – Knights of the Inquisition

1000070993.thumb.jpg.b4d432ddce636cdc6ca31228cfcf1b30.jpg

A Freeblade Lance made up of Knights "recruited" by an Inquisitor. Imperial and Mechanicus iconography has been replaced with the Inquisition's "I" symbol. The colour scheme is primarily black, red, and silver.

The downside is these kits all come from Russia, and I'm not sure our country is on the friendliest of terms.

#4 – House Jerboa

1000070991.jpg.2546c7c1390fb0fba7ba27725aa2b0b6.jpg

A Questoris Imperialis Knight House inspired by the Desert Rats of World War II. The Knights favour long-range firepower and wear faded khaki inspired by Montgomery's Eighth Army. They use British tank markings, with a red jerboa as their heraldic symbol.

#5 – House Sidus

A Questoris Mechanicus House known as the "Shackled Knights" of Ryza. Black and orange, and the only official GW colour scheme on the list.

#6 – Knights of the Grail

1000070855.thumb.jpg.822459508a13f029017f8156c137cbfc.jpg

A Questoris Imperialis Knight House inspired by Arthurian legend. A Castigator wielding Caliburn would lead the force, with heraldry based on the Knights of the Round Table.

#7 – The Lords of Coastmarch

1000070987.thumb.jpg.637500f4b72a8c6e4b9dbd9bb30ccf86.jpg

A Questoris Knight House using the colours of the Shoretroopers from *Rogue One*. The idea is essentially a naval shore patrol: instead of jeeps, the force relies on numerous Armigers supported by a single artillery-focused Questoris or Dominus Knight.

So, which one would you build, and why?

I'm especially interested in hearing which concepts you think would be the most visually striking, the easiest to paint, and the most fun to develop as a long-term project.

Personally, I vote for either 2 or 6.

2- Interesting idea, with plenty of ways to incorporate unique kitbashes using AoS Nighthaunt models to show spirits of dead enemies and allies. Probably a fairly easy way to paint up a large amount of units once you get going, as most of the Knights will stay with the same scheme and you can batch-paint.

6- Very classic knightly choice, works well as a Freeblade Company. Lots of options for a colorful set of Knights with everything pretty much decided for you based on the Authurian legend colors.

It really comes down to variety versus originality for me. I lean towards the weird and unique, so I like the ghostly "Knight House of the Damned" theme.

As a fun of African corps of booth side I vote for house Jerboa! It's could be easy to paint, and pretty fresh for knights.

But this makes me  create own chaos knights warband lead by Erwin The chaos Fox...

I am in the same boat with wanting to do my 2 Armigers in House of Steel (no official Scheme) or as Free blades attached to the Inquisition. The Legio kits are amazing but $50 shipping hurts. Taro Modelmaker has some parts and are in the UK.

I like the Shore Patrol idea but feel the Knights of the Grail is my 2nd favorite and the Revenants are my 1st.
