Things to come...

While I carry on with panel lining (and because I won't have anything to show for it for a while :whistling::laugh:), I thought I'd post some pics to show what's next.

The Marines I'm all working on are intended for games of Boarding Actions, I've built more than 500 points worth, so I've got a choice for games.

First on my 'shelf of WIP:sweat: are a squad of Hellblasters, and two Lieutenants. (Ignore the Contemptor Dread, that's for my Heresy Imperial Fists army :biggrin:IMG_20230712_211002_edit_296002656514726.thumb.jpg.3d060eab407b8cc6edf72b2a0ccafb99.jpg

The reason there are two Lieutenants is because I started assembling the miniatures for this force at the end of last year, after some of the Boarding Actions details were announced, but before I realised you could only take one Character model - I was originally going to take both. When the rules were actually released, I re-jigged my plans and added Hellblasters.

Next, Bladeguard Vets and Aggressors.

The Bladeguard Veterans were part of my plan from the beginning, but I added the Aggressors when I finally got hold of the Space Marine rules for Boarding Actions; there's a White Scars strat that gives them 8" advance - I thought it'd be fun to run these up to an enemy unit, then hit them with the flamers!

I'll move into these once I've painted the Assault Intercessors - I'm hoping to have the full Boarding Patrol force done by the end of the year. Fingers crossed..!
