I'm not sure I'll have time to work on more minis this month, but I'll try to at least do this little grot, my very first green skin.

Since I felt motivated for hobby activity this weekend (and hopefully, the heatwave is at it's end!), I worked some more on my Renegate Knight for my Night Lords (plodding along vow). Needs a coat of paint now. Here he is, Lupus Nox! He is primed and ready to come for you.

I'm feeling ok about my progress on the Word Bearers, so I'm going to add on to my vow and try to finish up all of my CtA stuff this month. I, Lord_Ikka, vow to paint for the month of August the following: 1 Chaos Lord in Terminator Armour, 1 Master of Executions, 1 Warpsmith

I am not quite sure if I will be able to finish this in August, since it is a LARGE project, but I have pledged this for the Call to Arms, so maybe this will be a plodding along vow for August AND September. I finally started work on my Night Lord knight. May I present: LUPUS NOX This is a former Imperial Knight that has turned traitor and joined the cause of the Night Lords only recently Today, I started building the legs and creating a battle scene on the base (the Ultramarine is sneaking about, trying to stay hidden).

I, bouargh, enlist for 12 MoH and for the month of August I pledge 5 Pteraxii (the ones for CtA26, still unchanged since I shot this pic in june...).

Ok, I'm giving up on getting the line Saturnine done, at this point I'm closer to throwing them away than finishing them . They are going back in the box to maybe be re-picked up when I have a pressing use for them, or otherwise sitting at the bottom of the pile to be forgotten about. I'm not wasting any more hobby time on them. Alas this also means I'm failing my plodding along as if I can't paint 3 bases I certainly can't paint all 12 from the box.
