Dreadnought drop Pod WIP

Attias

THIS bloody thing. OMG. OK, so - this is a dreadnought drop pod. I fought with this seemingly simple-looking model for an entire evening and it's still causing me grief. It looks like it should be the easiest thing in the world to assemble but OH BOY, did it ever give me a hard time. First of all - it's very, very heavy - solid chunks of resin for the base and doors, which I suppose seems cool, but it's really a bit of a pain too. I highly recommend pinning pretty much everything here. The issue I had was the fins - they are so flimsy and arrived all bent. Even after I heated/straightened them, they still seemed to have a hard time supporting everything. I just find that the whole things feels like it's about to buckle under its own weight. Also, I had to Dremel/cut off a piece on the bottom, because none of my dreadnoughts would FIT INSIDE THE DARN THING ! LOL!!! Maybe FW Dreads are smaller, I don't know, but my stylized GW ones (which, admittedly, I tricked out with DA iconography on top) had a hard time fitting inside the interior. Also, it has no weapons, so I improvised with a magnetized storm bolter from a rhino or something I found in my Bitzs Box and stuck it in there to use after my dread walks out. Anyway - buyer beware, this thing is not very forgiving to work with if you're new to the hobby.
