Base and Armour Paint Test

While I await my Fw Minotaurs Brass Etch, I decided to test out my paint scheme on parts I wont modify.

So first the base Blackfire Earth with Martian Ironearth on top. Once dry a light red ink wash and Ryza rust drybrush. Some have grey rocks and tufts on for variety.

Now for the armour (note I didn't add any white markings as not sure which squad this will go for).

Retributor Gold Spray, Brass Scorpion layer with Brass Runelord highlights. A wash of AP strong tone and ps armour wash. Joints in Administratum Grey (the light grey) with a Nuln oil wash. Mithril Silver for the studs and the sponged on for a painted look Khorne red on the knee pad. A little M.Ironearth on the bottom of the feet for effect.

All in all a simple but nice look
