The Old King, empowered but enslaved, sits on the throne that gave him the power to break kingdoms... tethered forever to the city he discovered and should have left well enough alone. None have seen what lies beyond the door in the throne room - none but the Old King himself. But where else could the font of madness be? The first portal - or the last.
