Created during the splitting of the original Space Marine Legions, the Lion Blades are a venerable Chapter of the Unforgiven. Dour-faced and grim, the Lion Blades strike rapidly and unrelentingly, piercing into the heart of the enemy. The Lions of Ravenna have a long and storied history, filled with honours and praise. There are however, darker periods, hidden by the fog of memory and concealed by the Lion Blades themselves. Most notable, was the engagement against the Dread Knights that led to the destruction their contemporaries' first homeworld; Cappadocian. As with every member of the Unforgiven, the Lion Blades are a riddle of hidden symbols, circles within circles and sectarianism.
