wow! really nice!!!

They are mostly tiny legend's Blitz Legion, but with headswaps of Artel W Crimson Legion Troopers. Took some trial and error to figure out a look I was happy with.

These models look good - where are they from? Look like a great alternative to Steel Legion.

@calgar101 - For the external surfaces, the card used to cover the outside of the "skeleton" is .015 (0.4mm) - that's about the thickness of 2 regular sheets of paper put together. The trim is made of 015 x .125 (0.38 x 3.2mm) strips, except for the bottom edge which is .040 x .188 (1.0 x 4.8mm). For the internal skeleton, the curved vertical struts are cut from .06 thick (1.5 mm) sheet and the horizontal cross beams are .08 x .125 (2.0 x 3.2mm) - those can be seen in this photo. Or, at least, that's if everything is in its original packaging and hasn't been switched around in that regard - that said, the numbers seem right. Anyway, hope that helps.

Well, whatever you were doing for those 15 years, it didn't hurt your painting skills. That much is clear.

Thanks for leaving a comment. I decided to use different coloured helmets for different battlefield roles. Fire support marines in my homebrew chapter use gunmetal helmets. On the other hand, the green helmet is used chapter-wide by sergeants. If you're interested, feel free to visit my plog in the WIP subforum.

When you have a lot of pipes and a lot of vehicle, how can you cross a fulll throttle a cumbersome battlefield? Well use the bridge!. Land Raider wide, even a Spartan would pass.

Thinking carefully about adding some blue to jump packs as well... did you end up doing this just with brush? I've been tempted to try blasting some ice blue with airbrush and then a heavy blue wash.

I love that really deep red on the legs. It really draws the attention to the most unique part of the model.

It looks good to me. I can make out the froth on the top and the bubbles when I view the picture close up. I think there's also a nice sharp highlight on the right hand side of the glass. Plenty of detail there. :)
