How do you made the dirt on the landraiders?

Awesome job with the weathering!!  They look great!

I just used Forgeworld weathering powders.  If I wanted a smoother finish to the dirt then it'd either use my finger or a cloth to smooth it out and blend the various powders together.  If I wanted it to appear to be more built up I'd allow the powder to clump together and then fix it in place with some careful placement of water.
