That's my main problem with it: it doesn't really stand out between the regular power sword and the power fist. I can't really fin a reason why i would take it, other than for the fluff and rule of cool.

hi guys, new DA recruit here! Yesterday i bought the big box, and i'm waiting for a big haul from FW with some DA-specific stuff, happy days these are! i'm yet to work on an army list, i just fell in love with the knightly style of the models as an european history enthusiast. wat do you think works best in this edition for the sons of Caliban? i'l for sure put a 10-man firewing seeker squad, breaching on 3+ against IC and their units is nuts, and works great as a (relatively) cheap distraction carnifex for the enemy. i'm open to any suggestion! p.s. i get why they had to prince the caliban warblade at 15 point having +1 strength and rending, but for the same price i can get a power fist... i don't really get why i should take a warblade over a cheaper power sword or a similarly priced power fist

So, dumb question maybe but i wanted to be sure: The IH legion rule states that all shooting attacks made against a non-vehicle IH model suffer -1 strength. My doubt is, if i put an IH character in a non-IH unit (say, an IH forgelord in a non-IH automata unit) does the -1 strength still apply when rolling to wound, or does the -1 apply only when assigning the succesful wounds to the IH character when determining Instant Death? Since when rolling to wound you are rolling against the general unit and not strictly only against the IH character?

I everyone! First of all, merry Christmas! I've been thinking about starting a Death Guard army as my first HH army, but i can't figure out a list that i like. I would like to run "The Reaping" RoW but i don't really know to make the most of it :( I love the Deathshroud terminators, so they are a must in my list (i don't even know if they are any good, i just like terminators with big scythes), and i would like to add Mortarion in the future. The group in my area plays with 3000 points lists, so that's the format i'm going for. Do you have any good suggestions for a rookie? Thank you!
