As always, Aerion, I adore your artwork. I really like how you pictured Horus - although he is The Emperor's loyal son at the moment his face already is kind of secretive and mean (not like it was described in books - honest and loyal face and so on...). And I really like it - it shows that the taint maybe has been already sown. Or maybe his face show his utter concentration on the ongoing battle, and there is no emotions in his mind, rather than will to win and hatred to enemy... I hate to say it, but I think that there's a bit a lot of gold in the picture. I know that it has to be gold, all their armor, especially, but the Custodes is lost against The Emperor at first. But that's not a big deal, as I say, IMHO the main character here is Horus, and I really like how he is shown. Again, great job! PS can't wait to see Angron and Curse - whomever is first.

I've run out of words..... Khan is freaking awesome! ^_^ I really like his pose, how he's holding his sword - concentrated and calm, ready to strike, that's great! I've seen only one Khan's image so far - made by Blanche - and wasn't impressed by it, but Aerion's Khan is shown as an epic oriental warrior, his face reflects both bravery, intelligence, combat wisdom, calmness and experience - IMHO all the qualities that are natural to someone so great like Khan! I've been addicted to Aerion's images since his first post, and Khan is another brilliant piece of art! :P :tu:

What can I say? The image of Mortarion is great! As always, Aerion, you did a remarkable piece of art! I haven't seen many pics of Mortarion, but this is the Mortarion I imagined when I read 'Flight of the Esenstein' - noble, fearsome and unknown... I really like the details of his armor, the rust on plates, his collar and hood, and Manreaper is great! :( :P I will patiently wait for your next Primarch!

I can't tell about other players, but this story makes me wanna play BA even more! Now I refer to BA as to the REAL Legion that defined the conclusion of the Heresy! :tu:

If memory serves me well ( :tu: ) BA suffered such heavy losses during the siege of Palace, that they took their gene-material for future marines directly form Sanguinius' body. As he was already dead by that moment, his gene-seed has the visions of his last moments imprinted, so during induction the marines get not only his formidable strength and abilities but also these last visions (and emotions). The other source stated that as Sanguinius was a prophet of some kind, his visions of future were translated to his sons with his gene-seed. I personally believe the first point of view. And as Dorn new this little secret he created BT in order to counter BA's HtH potential ;) Whether BA are tainted or not, I will still play them. If they turn traitors, so will I ^_^ PS I'm starting my search for Codex:Armageddon

... Wow.... :) That's an .... interesting story... So Khorne got tired of his berserk war machines and the artistic tragic vampires are now his unofficial favorites? B)

didn't he only have one eye after his ascension? According to fluff Magnus wasn't cyclops literally, he had two eye-sockets but had one eye (if you understand me). But the way Aerion pictured Magnus is even better: the third-all-seeing-eye!!! That really shows his arcane nature!!! As always, Aerion, you did the awesome work!!!

This will be great! I wish you success! BTW Russ is awesome. He really reminds me of some Irish or Scottish mythological giant. I'm not a fan of Russ, but this particular image is so impressive, I like it! As always you have performed a great job!

Hi everybody! I started playing W40k about 8 years ago. My army were Ultras (it was the first SM Chapter that I saw, and I didn't know of different chapters, as it was said above "marines were marines"). I played mostly friendly matches. I liked UM for their universalism, but when I learnt fluff, I found their fanaticism toward Codex not the thing to admire. And this was when 4th ed Codex:Blood Angels was released... I like BA for their raging and artistic (according to the fluff) nature, the passion to furious fighting, close combat, assault, tearing enemy apart.... And liberating Armageddon is a sound achievement! Also I find Sanguinius the coolest primarch! Should I say that red looks terrific on the battlefield?
