Here's a little update of what I've been working on

Hi all, Looking at the fellblade, would you take the laser destroyer array or the lascannon array, and why? Both have the same strength, same number of shots and twin linked. To me, sunder and ordnance effectively mean the same, sunder = reroll failed armour pen, ordnance roll 2 and pick the highest. Lascannon is range 48 vs 36 on the laser destroyers, but the laser destroyers are ap1 and LC are ap2. So for me, the laser destroyers just edge it out, unless I'm missing something?

Have you got access to a 3d printer, or know someone that does? If so there are plenty of decent options available, and I'd be happy to link some that I use. Otherwise if you're OK with recast, there are lots of places that sell them

Hi all, discussing potential lists with an opponent and he believes if he takes polux and uses his void commander rule to give all models in a unit he joins deepstrike, this would also give it to any dedicated transport that the unit had. So potentially deepstriking landraiders. Now apart from being ridiculous, my interpretation is that the dedicated transport isn't part of the unit, it just carries them. That being said, GW does have previous form. So what say you brothers?

Freehand is an inefficient use of 4th legion time. ;) 3d print with the lines sculpted on, it's the only way I can get decent stripes

I can't see my marines picking up any awards, the Iron 4th cares not for looking pretty or receiving awards ;)

OK and here is the end result! Check out all the WiP in my call to arms thread if you like. I'd started with the grey bases but the more I look at it the more I'm not sure I like it, so I've left them as is till I decide what I like. I'm so proud I've actually painted over 3k of minis for this event, so thank you everyone for all the hard work in organising this event as it actually got me to paint!

Thanks, it's actually smooth, that's just how GW iron warriors paint looks out of an airbrush, but yeah it's a good look for them

Breachers done! And with that my vow is completed! I'll be taking a army photo once the paint has tried on these
