OK over the time of being here I have started various threads, lots of unfinished and abandoned projects. the one constant has been my love for the Dark Angels and my own Successors which themselves has took various twists and turns. They started as the Blades of Altena, then the Blades of Alaric then to the Consecrated Blades, back to Alaric now back to Consecrated Yeah I know make up my mind. I named them Alaric by pure chance I didn't actually know there was a planet called Alaric in 40k, so by calling them that it makes them sound like they are from there which I think in my background causes some confusion, I have always tried to keep my background safe from encroaching on anything GW do. So to this end I have changed them permanently to the Consecrated Blades which I think most of you will agree is a more Dark Angels/Unforgiven name. Logo.... Well this was another sticking point for me for so long, I went down the custom transfers route with little success. I have also dabbled with the shapeways icons, as much as I like them I always thought they were just a little too thick so I was never 100% happy so to that end I am going for simple and easy (K.I.S.S. - Keep it simple stupid) and using the Dark Angels symbol.
