These two files are homemade decals for the Silver Skulls 2nd. company. One sheet is made to be printed on transparent, and the other to be printed on white decal paper. The documents are made to fit Letter format, but can be printed on A4 just fine. On the transparent decal sheet: The shoulderpads of the Silver Skulls are black with a metal trim. The idea is to use the inverted Silver Skulls decals on the black shoulder pad, but before you put them on, you paint a silver square to fit the transparent part of the decal. That way you get a silver decal, without having to use an expensive printer that can print metal colours. You may need to touch up the shoulderpad and decal with some black paint afterwards, depending on how accurate you made the silver area. But it is quite easy once you get the hang of it. On the white decal sheet: The idea is to print this sheet on white decal paper, because it enables you to get strong colours in your decals, even when put straight onto the black shoulderpad of the Silver Skulls marines. Once fitted where you want it, you may have to touch up with a bit of black depending. But it's quite easy once you get some experience with it. -
So recently, probably starting after the publication of the HH short story 'Iron Within' there has been mention here and there that the Silver Skulls may be Iron Warriors loyalist successors. As a Silver Skulls player and someone fairly up to speed on their history, I find this extremely unlikely. Nothing in their history, culture, or fighting style lends themselves to be Iron Warriors. The most likely scenario, for a conspiracy, is that the Silver Skulls were the Chapter Given to Barabas Dantioch. This kind of made sense because Dantioch was famous for his iron/silver mask that was permanently attached to his face and in the shape of a stylized skull. However, Have any of you heard this or put any credence behind it? The Silver Skulls are a RT era chapter. I think any seeming relation to them and what is happening in the Heresy is pure coincidence.

Hey all I've had Primaris marines since they came out and have done nothing with them, didn't want to add them to my Salamanders as I didn't want to invalide the force. I've now built most of them and have 1000 points of them Built Lieutenant Jovan Veteran Intercessor x5 Intercessor x5 Infiltrator x 10 Company Ancient Agressor Squad Interceptor Squad Eliminator Squad Redemptor Dreadnought Still to build Eliminators Reiver Squad Phobos LT Suppressor Squad Complete Lord Commander Titus Argentius I'm going to update this post with everything as it gets done and when i add more in. Lord Commander Titus Argentius I really enjoyed the simple conversion on this model, with the silver scheme i wanted to really push other parts of the model and the face is the best one i've managed to do, also really enjoyed the base and glazing the cloak - harder than I thought but satisfying nether the less.
