There have been some comments over on TGA of all places about the Tau release and not to excite @Chapter Master Valrak much, talk of titans. People mentioned the rumour engine with the railgun and a reliable poster named Whitefang Back Me Up responded with: "The Supreme Commander approaches." They were then asked if the rumours of the crisis/broadside suits are accurate and we get: "Don't forget the Impact Battesuits! But of course before T'au we have the other codex first." When someone was sad about the wait we get: "Do you own any Titans?" So this leaves us with Valraks much rumoured plastic Warhound and Codex: Titans, followed by Codex Tau with a new commander, broadside, crisis suits and "impact suits".

Just hearing this conspiracy for the first time. Has anyone heard of this one? Seems like there could be some basis for it. Perhaps Malcador didn't create the Emperor, but actually IS the Emperor? *Slams the book shut and slowly slides it forward on the table* Open at your own peril.

This is a wild guess. To anyone who has seen the new Space Marine Codex, did you notice that under the Primaris Lieutenant, they can now use a neovolkite and not a shield? Since GW doesn't make a neovolkite model without a shield, can this be a sign of a new LT sculpt? Probably with neo-volkite and power fist, from what the datasheet seems to point at.

So like at least a few of us I can't get Lion-O out of my head when hearing Lion El. I've heard some commentary which I can no longer locate which purports the name changes for the Lion had something to do with the T-cats IP, but I cannot find the link documentated. What it appears to be is just a coincidence that may or may not have a nod to popular culture built into 40k's parody side. In fact whether it's capitializing off Lion-O (worked on me) or it is one of those pop-culture mysteries that have more than one origin it doesn't seem to matter and the answer could both be yes a historical Poet and a Thundercat. How about you? Can you discuss Lion El without hearing someone call Lion-O's name?

The Return of Rogal Dorn and The Imperial Truth The Praetorian of Terra beholds the Imperium he helped his father forge, and a terrible dismay settles upon him. What was once the Imperial Truth, pure and absolute, has been twisted into the very superstition and tyranny it was meant to extinguish. Dorn’s unyielding iron conservatism for the ideals of his father, now rotten beyond recognition, stir his blood. His dismay gradually gives way to fury. He will not accept a galaxy of roving fleets that burn men at the stake in the name of a creed the Emperor never preached. The great cause, the purpose of the Great Crusade, is lost in ruin. Ignorance is celebrated. Suppression of truth is law. Institutional slavery is civic duty. Suffering is rampant. The Administratum and the Ecclesiarchy preside over a culture of fear and falsehood, while lesser men play at godhood over the masses. With bitter, absolute clarity Dorn understands the full measure of the failure. Ten thousand years of the Eternal Crusade produced not the triumph of Truth, but its systematic corruption. The Will of the Emperor to bring enlightenment to all Mankind has been buried beneath incense, dogma, and the pyre. The weapon he once loosed upon the stars, the Black Templars, now stands as both the last expression of that original purpose and a living reminder of how far the Imperium has fallen. The time has come to sweep the doorstep clean. And the cleansing, if it must, will begin with his own bloodline. The Lion and the Risen Having awakened, the First of the Primarchs reasserts command of his Legion. The Lion returns, and at his side stand a selection of “Risen Angels,” former Fallen Dark Angels whom he has now pardoned. By his redemption they stand acquitted, absolved of a ten-thousand-year sentence. This absolution does not go unnoticed. It further deepens the mutual distrust between the Dark Angels and the Black Templars, who regard this reconciliation with the Fallen as heretical and deeply unsettling. Questions arise surrounding the Lion’s loyalty to the Emperor’s Will. Whispers that the Primarch integrates traitors into the ranks of his Legion constitute a provocation of the highest order. The Black Templars do not recognise the Lion’s right to absolve what The God-Emperor Himself has not. A Primarch may command his own sons, but he cannot overwrite the moral order of the Imperium by personal decree. Guilliman and The Lion Guilliman, weary of propping up a stagnant and regressive empire, turns his full strength to the reclamation of the Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar. The Ultramarian Reclamation becomes the cornerstone of his effort to restore order and renew the Imperium from a secure foundation. On the fringes, independent and semi-renegade loyalist Chapters watch the growing turmoil and quietly prepare to intervene wherever opportunity or advantage presents itself. Strife festers across many sectors. In this climate of uncertainty the Lion and Guilliman meet and regard one another with measured caution. Though no formal compact is struck, both appear content for the present to stand back to back, each free to consolidate and expand his influence within the bounds of his own domain, neither yet willing to name the other foe. The ranks of the Ultramarines and their successors continue to swell with recruitment and reinforcements. Shield Chapters assigned to the defence of Ultramar deploy their fleets on proactive patrols throughout the realm, cracking down on opportunists and disorder. The restoration of the ancient Five Hundred Worlds grows ever more imperative to Guilliman’s cause and to any lasting renewal of the Imperium. The Trial For Truth Proclamations of Dorn’s return, a great assemblage of the Imperial Fists, and his complete and utter disdain for Imperial excess, filth, and decay spread throughout many sectors. Rumours of secession gather like storm clouds. Ideological divisions take prominence among Inquisitors, who begin to recruit and heavily militarise their operations. The Inquisitorial Anomalous Beholders send forth assassin cells to seek and cut down key figures of their opposition. Galactic order strains as overlapping Imperial authorities revise their agendas toward the preservation of their own power, rank, or status at whatever cost. Chaos cults seize the moment, striking at high officials and sabotaging offices of the clergy in bids for greater influence amid the disarray afflicting Mankind. Cultist spies infiltrate societies to sow unrest and distrust of all authority. The Arbites are deployed around the clock to control movement, break protests, quell riots, and enforce curfews. Fires burn upon many worlds. Whispers of a reckoning to come are carried upon the wind. Civil war looms once more over the vestige of the Imperium. Across the Imperium the Imperial Truth gathers new adherents. The factions of the Imperial Cult turn upon themselves. Fault lines of ideological division rupture within the Inquisition and throughout the Administratum. The Black Templars and the Adepta Sororitas go on high alert. The most devout among them begin to suffer apocalyptic visions of The God-Emperor. Communication channels are opened with the Ecclesiarchy. The most faithful of His Will prepare their arms for martyrdom. Chaplains are dispatched to Inquisitorial councils from Templar fleets across the galaxy. The Question of Allegiance The question of identity grips the Black Templars in the shadow of their gene-sire’s return. Dorn is the source of their blood, yet it is Sigismund who is their true father, the First Templar and the eternal example of unrelenting faith. The Sons of Sigismund will not succumb. They will not abandon the vow their true father set upon them. For Dorn is a man, a son of the Emperor, Yay; and our gene-father, but Nay is he our God. That title is reserved for The Emperor alone. Helbrecht and the Emperor’s Champions withdraw into days of martial meditation, prayer to The God-Emperor, dedications to Sigismund, and displays of reverence for Dorn, despite the uncertainty surrounding his present disposition toward his sons. Among the Chaplains an intense debate arises concerning the nature of reverence for, and Chapter loyalty to, their gene-father. The Great Mustering of The Black Templars Every Templar able and convicted of the Emperor’s Will is summoned to the Eternal Crusader from across the galaxy. In addition to the great assembly of Black Templars, lesser-known Chapters of God-Emperor literalists answer this call to join this great gathering of warriors In The Name of The God-Emperor. Emboldened by the presence of these Astartes, the Monodominant Puritans of the Inquisition intensify their purges. Rebellion and sectarianism flare across countless worlds. The Literalists provoke conflict among the people; elsewhere, loyalties to rival Space Marine Chapters ignite bloodshed in the great hive cities. The Great Mustering of the Black Templars is now underway, the greatest roll-call ever recorded in ten thousand years of Imperial history. For a hundred centuries the Chapter has waged the Eternal Crusade, subduing world after world in His Holy Name. Their numbers are no longer counted in the mere thousands, they are counted in the tens of thousands. We Black Templars are not the arbiters of which Primarch’s vision shall prevail. We are the Emperor’s Angels of Death. We exist to prosecute the Eternal Crusade against the enemies of Mankind and against all who blaspheme in the Name of The God-Emperor. If the hour has come when those enemies include traitors and schismatics within the Imperium itself, and if the cleansing must begin with our own blood, then the Chapter will answer as it has always answered: With Faith. With Fury. And with No Remorse. The Emperor Wills It!

Some dabblers of ancient Terran-Historica hold that LEI (the proto-type Legionary and precursor to LEII (LE2) crafted from the gene-stock of The God Emperor and Erda meant "Legion of El". Further still what some say is the mark of that series (LEI) accompanying the infant (Lion) would inspire a knight of Caliban to derive "Lion" and "El" from this is rather interesting. Now looking at Calibanite "Jonson", through the Terran Old English "Johnson", and Ancient Terran Hebrew meaning "Son of John", with John being "Yəhôḥānān" translating to "Yahweh is gracious" we see it is set beside "El" without Luther knowing he had written a "God" twice. Such is a coincidence for the Lion is the son of our God. The proto-type LE1 was the first step towards the later creation of the Primarchs, but with his premature death LE1 the series of the "First Legionary" was recast under the Primarch Project. From the First Legionary (LE1), to the First Primarch (The Lion), and finally the First Legion (The Dark Angels) the chain is forged. The God Emperor knew full well who El was to ancient Terrans. He may have walked beside him, wrestling lions, calling down lightning, or summoning a tempest. We will take this as a sign of His Ever-Guiding Will which permeates throughout the imagination of Mankind.

A Manifestation of The God Emperor on Old Terra An Imperial Record by Archivist [REDACTED] [REDACTED], Forbidden Knowledge of the Emperor’s Divine Manifestations Preface: This document was discovered by one of our squires from the remains of a most loyal Inquisitorial Acolyte, a truly devoted servant of the Imperium. The Acolyte shamefully ambushed by Hive Cult-Gangers had been engaged in the investigation of a Radical (name [REDACTED]; title [REDACTED]; restricted), who was found to be collaborating with the enemies of mankind. Twelve Templars were sent out on a recovery mission to return the Acolyte's body and execute judgement upon the perpetrators. Just as well to bring The Wrath of The God Emperor upon any or all who stood in opposition to His Will. I therefore humbly submit this record before the Council of The Black Templar Chaplains for further rerview on the quality of the document as follows: I. For authentication of that which lies therein as Imperial in origin. II. For approval of any authority it may hold. III. For its denunciation of all such legitimacy should it be found wanting of any truth. I. Introduction: The God Emperor of Mankind and The Son of Man In the millennia preceding our God Emperor’s Ascension, there existed a figure among the peoples of Old Terra known as Jesus Christ (Jesus, The Christ). While the exact details of His life remain obscured in the ancient Terran texts (many of which are now lost or deemed heretical), the figure of Jesus Christ (Jesus, The Christ) was revered by many as a savior of mankind. His birth, miracles, and teachings remained central to the beliefs of billions of Terrans. The notion that this figure, Jesus Christ, may in fact have been an earlier divine embodiment of our God Emperor is a hypothesis that has emerged in certain sectors of the Imperium. In the ancient Terran period, Jesus was recognized for His immense compassion and for His moral instruction, which sought to align the way of man with The Kingdom of God. He became a spiritual leader in His own right, attracting many followers. This popularity began to attract less favorable attention however. Resentment among the the Rabbi the spiritual leaders of this time grew. The Priesthood recognized a persistent threat to their authority in this man named Jesus. Eventually, this unrest led to the condemnation and arrest of Jesus by The Temple Guards at the call of the High Priest for claiming to be the Son of God. He was publicly denounced as a blasphemer. The High Priest could not tolerate a claim such as this so involved the ruling authorities. Jesus faced capital punishment, death by crucifixtion. Following a trial in which the state found no fault in Him, Jesus was nonetheless handed over to local authorities, who carried out the sentence upon Him. However, Jesus did not endure this fate as a mere criminal of the state. Rather, He willingly embraced His suffering as part of a divine act of forgiveness, taking upon Himself the sins of mankind. Through His deliberate sacrifice, He offered redemption to humanity, making the ultimate act of atonement through His passion and death. His crucifixion, the ultimate sacrifice, was not simply an end, but a purposeful gift of divine mercy to the world. His resurrection following His death on the cross confirmed His authority over life and death. The cross carried by the Templars of our day symbolizes this death as the great sacrifice by The God Emperor of Mankind in an act of mercy through His love for Humanity in bygone ages. This divine love is further represented through His present suffering upon the throne to keep humanity alive. The cross becomes the throne. Both are affirmation of His Immutable Will by his Undying, Enternal nature. The teachings of Jesus Christ were meant to demonstrate moral courage, to show the way to salvation through His word, and to offer redemption to mankind through His mercy as the fortold "Son of Man" in Terran religious texts. The resurrection, furthermore, solidified His authority and the eternal power that would endure beyond His mortal form. It is from this, the act of His resurrection, that one could begin to understand the true nature of His power. A power that, perhaps, did not end with His death but began anew as The Most High God Emperor of Mankind. Praised be. However, as with all teachings of the divine, the truth of His sacrifice, death, and resurrection in The God Emperor's former Manifestation as The Christ, Jesus has been obscured over time. Many teachings were lost or dismissed as heretical. But within the deepest layers of the Imperium’s most sacred orders, there remains a belief that The God Emperor, in some capacity, shared a divine connection with this figure called Jesus Christ. II. The Sacred Role of the Cross For the faithful who serve The God-Emperor of Mankind, the cross is an icon of sacrifice, passed down through the ages. It began with the death of Jesus, The Christ whose crucifixion represented the ultimate act of selfless devotion for the salvation of humanity. In this supreme moment, He bridged the divine and the mortal, offering redemption to all mankind. Today, that same symbol endures, as witness to not only the sacrifice of Christ, but in that tradition The God Emperor’s own endless martyrdom upon the golden throne for the salvation of humanity. The God Emperor's agony upon the throne mirrors the suffering of Christ upon the cross. In this way, the cross becomes both a testament of the past and of the present. A reminder of the endless resurrection, the hope it ensures, as The Saviour forever endures. For the Templar Brethren of the Imperial Fists, and The Black Templars, the cross stood not only as a token of faith but as a practical emblem of their duty. These chapters hold the cross aloft in devotion, and in a show of resiliance, the unwavering resolve to overcome in the face of adversity, and before all emenies of mankind in the name of The God Emperor. III. Hidden Knowledge and Secret Teachings There exists, however, a deeper and more esoteric understanding among the highest echelons of the Imperial Cult. This knowledge has been passed down through the ages, kept secret from the majority of the populace to protect the sanctity of The God Emperor’s true nature and His role in the salvation of mankind. It is within this hidden knowledge that certain ancient secrets are known — secrets that allude to The God Emperor’s earlier life and His connection to the life and legacy of Jesus, The Christ. During the early years of The God Emperor, He is believed to have many incarnations, and Jesus, The Christ, we are confident, is of one such form. This knowledge, while reserved for the most trusted and highest-ranking officials in the Imperial Cult, places The God Emperor not only as the living deity but as one who has transcended the boundaries of time and identity. Among those who know the truth, The God Emperor’s resurrection, His endurance, and His presence beyond death are seen as eternal truths — His true power is not constrained by the limits of one lifetime. By these teachings, the faithful understand that The God Emperor’s role as a savior is not merely theoretical, but a living and breathing force that continues to guide humanity towards salvation by innumerable means. IV. The Emperor’s Bloodline, The Knights Templar, and The Illuminati The bloodline of Jesus Christ is said by certain secretive and ancient sects of the Imperium to be more than a folktale of Old Terra. The God Emperor, in all His manifestations, is believed by some to have left behind a biological progeny separate from the Primarchs. These children, scattered across the Imperium’s history, are thought to have been guarded by certain individuals and organizations dedicated to preserving His Truth. Among these, and while not openly known, The Knights Templar, The Templar Brethren of The Imperial Fists, and The Black Templars, and the Knights of the Long Watch have been charged with preserving the sacred knowledge of The God Emperor’s divine nature, His various incarnations, and descendants through time. These orders are entrusted with the belief that The God Emperor’s Will extends forth by His offspring who continue to shape the course of humanity as saints and martyrs. The Illuminati, whose very existence is denied by most among the Inquisition, are rumored to hold secret knowledge that includes the bloodline of Jesus Christ which they too believe is found among the true progeny of our God Emperor. The Illuminati guard this information from the public eye for reasons I shall not elaborate on here, but it is whispered among some of the highest circles, that the Illuminati are radical resurrectionists. + Final Seal of the Black Templars + By the command of the Black Templars Chapter Master and under the authority of the God Emperor of Mankind, this document is deemed to be of the utmost importance. Its contents are sacred, and its dissemination is restricted to authorized personnel only. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Black Templar Chaplaincy, Imperial Cult Authority

0:47 second mark of Adeptacon 11th edition preview video. A bit fuzzy, but clearly it is reminiscent of the Tornado, especially with the rotary gun. (Onslaught Gatling / Assault Cannon?) I doubt that GW would animate this just for nostalgia. I want my speeders to fly again across the tabletops again. Could Sableclaw and Talonmaster also return? Oh yeah... squadrons! That part is very important.

Hey guys Just saw this out in the wild, anyone heard anything about it? Kasrkin are very likely because of the rumour engine pic, the others I haven't heard before though. Anyone heard anything?
