I know it doesn't quite fit your bill as its a GW chapter, but I've done a decent background and sexed-up their chapter symbol a bit, so I'm hoping that Scally would fix me up with one of his images. Perhaps a veteran marine with some of the older armor pieces (studded shoulder pad and older helmet), perhaps holding a Tulwar (the curved sword in the chapter Icon) and a bolter-melta or bolter-flamer if Scally is feeling adventurous. The chapter color from the GW background is a very light yellow that almost appears to have a slight green in it. Basically it is different from the more golden yellow of the Imperial Fists. I've emailed Scally my master file which has a chapter symbol and company marking which goes on the left knee pad at the end of the document. If Scally chooses to try the "veteran marine", I believe a veteran of the Marauders will be identified by chapter Icon with crossed flaming swords instead of a single sword. I myself named a mech chapter "Iron Guard" but that never got off the ground since it became too common. Go with what you want, but if I ever hear Praetorian Guard again Im going to kill someone... They usually have chainblade attachments on their bolters, and Mk VI armour with shoulder studs is very common. No hazard stripes, all weapons are blue. Don't misunderstand, it wasn't a veiled attempt at me trying to rush him, and even thogh I do have a request of my own in this thread, I just like to see Scally's work in general. It's great to see him take general descriptions (mine included) and bring them to life as more than just a paint-by-numbers marine image. By 'lost in the warp' I was very much referring to real-life issues. Believe me, one of the classe I'm taking right now is a language course, and I know what's like when life gets off a charge on you and has Furious Charge, Litanies of Hate, and Lightning Claws. If you could make me one for my Doom Bringers (their IA is here) I'd be forever in your debt... ;) Just to make it easier for you I'll quote the "painting" part of the IA: Painting the Doom Bringers Chapter Symbol (A Codex Grey sword with Rotten Flesh flames on a Chaos Black background) The Doom Bringers wear Codex Grey armors with Chaos Black helmets, backpacks and shoulder pads. Their chest Aquilla is painted Chaos Black too. They follow the Codex as far as squad markings are concerned, but have no company markings. Sergeants have their chest Aquilla painted Mithril Silver instead of the usual Chaos Black. Ghost Hunters have their helmets and the rims of their shoulder pads painted Rotten Flesh. The Doom Bringers are pale skinned with dark hairs. A basic Doom Bringers Tactical Marine A "Ghost Hunter" Sarge Note that they have yellow eyelenses... ;) And that, being a 26th founding chapter they only have MK7 and MK8 Power armors I'd really like, if you have the time of course, to have both a "basic" battle brother and a Ghost Hunter Sarge... (To replace those crappy pictures made with GW's SM painter ;) ) If the Ghost Hunter could be equipped with a chainsword and bolt pistol, have a Tyranid Hunter symbol on his right shoulder pad (like the symbol in the top right corner of this picture but maybe with rotten flesh flames around the 'nid instead of a sword going through it...) and maybe some kind of 'nid trophy, it'd be perfect... If possible, I'd also like the "basic" battle brother to be equipped with a flamer... EDIT: I have tweaked the chapter's symbol a bit while working on their DoW version... There colour is black power armour with scab red sholdour pads with a white trim. They also wear mk5//crusader//iron warriors (wwithour the horns :) :sweat: ) and black templar helms. the eagles on their chest are aslso white. Like when he gets about 10 requests all others are cut off or stymied untill he has finished the first ten and then recovered from his stint enough to accept another 10. Or whatever number you want. Dont overload an artist or they will have a meltdown/nervous breakdown/crack up/ freak out/ abandon their art to escape the masses :ph34r: . I will however be adding a request to your workload scally, but only once I am certian of what I want, and when there is a (god help us) down-season in requests. Either that or bring in a couple of other artists to help you out and create a guild of sorts to do this sort of work. You could even work on comission, maybe only working on armies with a full and complete IA or something (that would leave me out in the cold :rolleyes: ).
