Brother Cambrius
Thankyou so much for making me the Decimators colour scheme Scally! I wasn't expecting it in the slightest so it was a great surprise for me when I had an awful school day. :D The others look great too. Do you have a list on who owns what? utilityzero
not going to add a request, if i ever even go about creating an IA, i can make do with the SM painter. hell, if you did make me something, my modeling and painting skills probably wouldn't live up to it. ;) but i did want to say you do really good work. i can see why so many people are fighthing over who gets to be next. the corsairs serpentis are especially good looking fellows. Brother Dienekes
Excellent Brother, That is spot on, thanks scally. One of my vets sgts has a cc weapon and I was toying with the idea of making it a spear instead of a sword, you've just made up my mind for me. Well done! Custodian Athiair
HI My chapter symbol is a Black roraring lion head (side on, facing forwards) the colours of the black lions are Black Armour with Red eyes, belt, fists, knees and shoulder trim and a white shoulder pad with the chapter insgnia on. The chapters planet is called Leonis, they were created in the 3rd founding using the Dark Angels geneseed. They may have a homeworld but they are mainly a fleet chapter except when a new chapter master is created where the 10 masters of ten companies must find and hunt a midnight lion and the first one back with the skin of a midnight lion is the new chapter master or great lion as they are noramly called. The Black Lions combat doctrien is sneak up on the enemy and then unleash a huge close combat attack (unless a firing line is better of) They are a codex chapter allthough thier doctriens are Trust your Battle Brothers and See but dont be seen and disadvantage is Eye to Eye They belive that the geneseed of the Lion was purified when he was taken by the Watchers (like a died for our sins kinda thing) and they still hunt the fallen but not overly like the Dark Angels and 2nd founding. The battle cry of the Black Lions is "For the Pride CHAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGE" or if defending no charge at the end the colours of the black lions are Black Armour with Red eyes, belt, fists, knees and shoulder trim and a white left shoulder pad with the chapter insgnia on. here is a link to the scheme http://bolterandchainsword.com/sms.php?bpe...amp;spr2=533B1C Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/101409-diy-index-astartes/page/6/#findComment-1497482 Share on other sites
Jeryen
Hi After seeing all of the different work you have done, I would love it if you do my chapters colors if you had time. Most of the Information, chapter colors and symbol can be found here. The stuff is still kinda sketchy so not everything would be on there for now. Some notes for design. 1) the symbol is supposed to be a wing with half a cog on top of it. the one in the link is my weak attempt at doing it on paint :D. 2) on the leg's there is a white strip at the front and on the edges, I wanted to see If I could add more white stripes on the amour, but did not want to repaint all of my models again and again, so surprise me if you can find a good spots to put them. 3) The main theme of the chapter are 'relic hunters' so anything themed around that would be nice. that is pretty much on what I would like on my picture. Zed Alpha
Heydy hidey ho, frater! I love your work. It's incredibly high quality, and if you would could you do some of my chapter? Name: Fire Giants Homeworld: Mauna Pyrus, a sunny tropical world of verdant grasslands, steaming jungles, murky swamps, shallow sun-kissed seas, and towering volcanoes. Geneseed: Salamanders Doctrines: Cleanse and Purify, Trust Your Battle-Brothers, Eye to Eye, Death Before Dishonor Other Info: They're ferocious, cleanse-heavy assault monsters, more than eager to charge howling into the fray. They take their recruits from a collection of volcanic tribes known as the Fularba Wild-Men, and they do not, under any circumstances retreat, regardless of the consequenses, if they can help it. Color scheme is bright red-orange (primary), bright orange (secondary) bright yellow (trim). Eyes are a sort of goldish-orangey-yellow. Y'know. Fire colors. Battlecry is "Let them Feel the Flames!" Haven't been able to think of a symbol for them. Thank you for looking at this, and pre-emptively thanking you if you do anything for it, sir. Commissar Molotov
Nice to see the Minotaurs getting some attention. That chainblade attachment you made for the Angels of Perdition is definitely getting some good use. :tu: About the things you wanted me to email you with - I've pretty much got it arranged, so I'll try to send it to you soon. Grandmaster Cassius
I have to say, brilliant work Scally! http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...t=0&start=0 If you have any spare time would it be possible to just 'spice' up the Image already there, I'm looking for a Knight-theme but more of the honourable warrior side rather than the shining armour side (so a bit like the Grey Knights). If it's not impossible then 'feathered' wings would be good, coming up from between the backpack and the armour. A Halberd would also look good rather than a sword and a Storm bolter would just add that extra touch <_< It'd be also good to have a chapter emblem rather than just using the Rave Guard one, I was thinking maybe a silhouette Raven Guard emblem with Terra in front and then crossed swords on top of that, thanks very much! That chainblade attachment you made for the Angels of Perdition is definitely getting some good use. ;) The Crusade pattern bolter assault attachment. Actually I originally made it for a Pre-Heresy Space Wolves Marine. It is based on the picture in the Space Wolves section of Index Astartes II. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/101409-diy-index-astartes/page/6/#findComment-1514143 Share on other sites

riddic
is there a program involved with all the posting or, is everyone using photoshop? I am trying to get an example of the alpha legion from the book "legion". it seems that they are moving from the "accepted" adeptus astartes article they did on them. but I like portions of the picture that they are using for the cover of the book. where do I get blanks for these posts. Sigismund Himself
This is quite normal for Scally. He has RL and other projects to keep himself busy with. If you really need yours, simply use the B&C SM Painter for now. Wolph
Hey Scally let Me first say that I love your work. When you get the opportunity because I know you gotta be swamped but I would like to have you create a picture of my chapter theRaven Wolves. I am still updating them and working on the IA but the base idea is there. They are basically a cross between native American and Japanese tribes. Ninja Indians! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/101409-diy-index-astartes/page/6/#findComment-1700443 Share on other sites
