Combat_Vet
Damn you B&C mods! I've refused to play chaos for 15 years. I'm having so much fun with this contest, I am actually thinking of going to the dark side. I have seen your evil plans! Better days,

TheDarkApostle
A CHALLENGE TO THE FRATER The most contest entries ever from the Frater were the 47 recieved for the Legio B&C Contest. Your challenge (should you chose to accept) is to beat that number. Ha! Almost to easy  (I hope :teehee: )
Desikratis
The Desi'e will to answer the call (when my arm is healed)! When it comes to painting my artistic skill might be lika a fart in the wind compared to the great painters i've seen on this site, but that wont stop me! Quick rule question: Is it allowed to use some parts from none-power-armour modells. For example a Daemonette arm for a Slaanesh Possesed, some Zombie bits for a Plague Marine or Chaos Warrior bits for an old shool Chaos marine? And is Renegade Marines like the Warp Ghosts and the Red Corsairs allowed? -Desikratis
Captain Chapel
Conversions via greenstuff, wire, plasticard, other bitz (GW!!) are all legal. http://www.duckblindminiatures.com/images/funstuff/mackarel.jpg QUOTE(LunchBoxmtbr @ Jul 20 2007, 01:02 PM) Side Question: I read the rules a few times, but since I know nothing about Chaos, I gotta ask...are DIY style Chapter colors OK? I figure they would be, but that Kurgan is a crafty little monkey...[/b] DIY Chaos Chapters are fine. http://www.duckblindminiatures.com/images/funstuff/mackarel.jpg

Denkal
Looks like I picked a good time to get in on the Chaos action! One question... A Disc of Tzeench is considered a Daemonic Steed, correct? *braces for the Mackeral-Whack* I don't actually have the codex with me at the moment. I just ask because I wouldn't put it past myself to jerry-rig a Disc to a 40mm base.

Stuart
Just to clarify on Heresy colors (again), do you mean it's ok to use Chaosified Marines in their original colors, or is it also cool to use models in original colors BEFORE they turned Traitor? I assume it's no, but I figured I'd ask. ...hope I read the guidelines right and didn't miss something obviously answering this...ha...

Heresy Era is ok however it HAS to be a Legion that went to Chaos. If you send in a Heresy era Ultramarine that won't do. Heresy Era World Eater - that's fine. What about that questionable legion, the first Legion? (One of the fallen ones but In Pre-Heresy garb, probably indestinguishable from the loyalists). Also, what about scale (54mm)? The Fallen have traditionally been represented under the Codex: Chaos Space Marine rules, so are acceptable when portrayed as traitors. Pre-heresy garb would really make them nothing more than Dark Angels, so that wouldn't be allowed. 54mm is not allowed. Standard WH40K minis only, please. -=Dan=-
strangly enough, im doing a heresy era unit to have some fun with the preheresy forum rules, just released (unofficial*) ive started a captain, and thinking about using him XD. *this makeral thing is hilarious!*
Chyttering
You're allowing conversions but not TDA or 54mm scale... what about truescaled PA? I've seen versions of truescale PA that are the same size as heroic scale TDA - would this be acceptable, or does it need to be kept at heroic scale? Muskie
I'll try to enter, I got some models already converted and primed black. I just need to find a snap of them. These will just be rank and file dudes to make my squads mo legal and mo betta. They will not be using all the new models, just whatever was in my bitz box last summer or earlier this summer. They will be Diseased Sons, possibly even purple... Two months to paint one model, even I can accomplish that.

Brother Gothard
HEh .. Get your mackeral ready. It doesn't anywhere actually explicitly say we're doing ONE model. So .. I have to ask .. This is just for ONE model, right? Somehow I got the impression that we were doing an entire army. But then again, 2 months for an entire army is tough even by a highschooler's standards... Either way .. I'm in
