Can someone bring the fish?

'cuz I think I'm about to ask some silly questions.

1: Would a Fallen be ok as long as it uses enough chaos-esque bitz?

2: Are models dedicated to Malal allowed?

3: And how much of a "victim" or "trophy" is allowed? E.g. would a chest+head be allowed?

Well to answer Point #3:

Homemade trophy racks are okay, but should be kept reasonable. If you were to have some heads/skulls skewered, or perhaps a body part or two, that would be fine. If you were to have another model basically strung up as a trophy, that would not be acceptable. Your idea of a skewered Ork's head is fine.

That is from a post he has made previously.

As for points 1 + 2.

Fallen have been answered previously in that YES they are allowed as they have been covered under C:CSM. However you'll want to ensure they are Chaosified somewhat as a Pre-Heresy looking Fallen would essentially be a normal Space Marine (since the Dark Angels were still very much loyalists then).

Point #2: Yes they are since Malal is a Chaos God and does have his own following (Sons of Malice). So assuming they are in Chaos attire i dont see how they can't be entered.

3: And how much of a "victim" or "trophy" is allowed? E.g. would a chest+head be allowed?

So would that be a yes or a no?

Ok I'm back from Chicago Games Day so time to catch up:

Divinity: I should mackarel you but for now I won't. No Xeno scum in this contest....power armor or otherwise.

Primarchs -- technically you can do them though it would in effect be a representation of them since a true primarch (even prechaos) would have Daemonic Stature and other things we aren't allowing for this.

Terminator parts -- Weapons sure, legs probably night. The whole point of no termies and other 'large models' is to keep things on a relatively even playing field size wise. In the past when models of varying armor types were allowed we've found that large models get undue attention just because they are "big". Which is why this contest is confined to Powe Armor.

Now Termi armor, sufficiently modified to rep a true scale Marine would be fine. But it has to clearly be Power Armor once you are done converting it.

Demonhosts -- well technically demonhosts don't exist in the 3rd edition codex. There are possessed and lords and princes who haven't been elevated and you could rep those. But if is Marine A. with Demon B coming out of him then that would count as 2 models really. If it is just Marine A. starting to show mutations then you'd be fine.

How about a power-armoured chaos tyranid?

Think that would be classified as "Xeno Scum" :verymad:

A yes I would say. Head + Torso = 2 Body Parts,

How about a power-armoured chaos ork/eldar/jokaero/necron? ;)

Joy...

Now to find a base large enough to hold it and the mini. (maybe a 60mm base...)

maybe a 60mm base...

"Base size can be no bigger than 40mm".

Thought that there was something in the reules about truescale, becase I was planning to do something bit oversized. Maybe my mind is fooling me... again.

About my entry, think I' ll PM You again Kurgan. Now I'm lost in all these legal loopholes. Maybe sketch could help us to solve this problem.

*sigh* For the five-hundredth time:

DO NOT DISCUSS YOUR CONTEST ENTRIES.

:P

-Kal

"Sorry about that Kal. I took that as dont talk about what you are gonna be doing with them. "Sends off a Khornate prisoner to the flesh chambers to sacrifice for such impotence...

:P

Well the fact that Demonic stature and large models like Terminators aren't allowed should indicate that there is a limit. Same for the restriction on plinths.

Think of it as if you will be using this model to game with at some point -- you wouldn't put it on a giant base that is 4" high most likely.
