More to come, I just need up upload pictures once I return to the place-from-which-I-paint. Unfortunately this is the result of an army Re-build. Someone broke into my car and stole all the out of print models I had painted: A 1st edition dreadnought, those horrible 2nd edition Space Marines from the box set, the old style Land speeder... <sigh> Why didnt they just take the CDs? They took the stereo...

Although it didn't feel like i'd done an awful lot of painting last quarter, it turns out that I finished more than expected.

 

Now, new shiny assault Terminators, a new tactical squad and a new assault squad are all ready (bar the basing that is :) ) to take to the field

Here's my finished techmarine and his servitor retinue, part of my commitment to the BA paintathon. I actually first started painting them in August '05 when on holiday in Greece. Work and other gaming commitments have since put them on the backburner....until now ;)

My old incarnation of 2nd Company Brother-Captain Marius Perdo. I painted him when I was 18 for when I used Codex Angels of Death in 2nd Edition. For reference I am now nearly 34. I have built a replacement based on the Dante model geared for melee with optional magnet swap back packs. I'll post him when he is "reborn" :teehee: Oddly enough as this miniature only has a bolter I cannot even use him now. I dug him out when some folks where asking about Erasmus Tycho's history. I am getting used to the camera with small objects so it is slightly blurred. Apologies for that.

'Ere we go. This new Blood Angels army is to replace the one I sold three years ago to help

fund my education, and to see what I can do with my painting skills, which have improved vastly

in the five or six years since I painted the old army....

My first Tactical Squad completed (though the urban bases aren't done yet). The chapter badges

on the shoulders, the third company white teardrop, and the squad badges on the right knees are

all freehand. Screw decals!
