Blindhamster
alright well here we go, some kind of an update :D hes getting there slowly but surely, its an experience to say the least to be doing so much gold.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/dantepaint1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/dantepaint2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/dantepaint3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/dantepaint4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/dantepaint5.jpg ive decided not to do the blood on his mouth (will leave that for the deathcompany) or battle damage. Instead im just going to focus on improving blending and other painting techniques with this army. Im thinking i might do the Axe mortalis purple? whats peoples oppinions? -Blind
BLACK BLΠFLY
hi BH That is really turning out to be one sweet model. The painting is looking very good. :D I would stick with green for the master crafted power axe. It plays well with both gold and red for the overall scheme. - 0b
AkiraCho
i must say its a few great steps better than old dante. i think you have a professional looking model on your hands. keep up that good work!
redthirst
I'm a fan :D For the axe, have you considered gold with a wash of very thin red gore? It creates a nice red gold that might go very well with the rest of the model.
Mullinstron
Dude that just looks amazing. You nailed it! ~m
Angelust
Looking great Blindhamster. Even my wife, who doesn't care for the hobby, is very impressed. If you made resins of this model, I'd definitely have to buy one off ya! :thanks:
BlackKnight1239
I'd say go with a green or blue for the axe. I don't think purple would look that great.
Mullinstron
Make a mold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
Demoulius
 looking amazing as ever BH :tu: may i ask what head you used for the conversion? it looks really beatifull  the scare across his eye is also very neat, did you do it with a sculpting tool/knife? nik0
 How the @#?! can you use (is that green stuff?) green stuff so good, I'm so rubbish with it... :) (Excuse my gibberish)
Blindhamster
hey niko, yeah its all greenstuff, seriously take your time and its not all that hard :) Dem the head is from the assault terminator box, and already has the scar on it, all i did was add hair (which is actually tied back though the pics dont show it) id considered it but was told i should let it be one of a kind heh, i am sculpting up a series of BA heads, torsos, guns and legs (various mks) to be molded though! BlackKnight, nah Purple would look better as purple is yellows complimentry colour which means they will help make each other 'pop' as the gold is just a shiney yellow Thanks a lot Angelust and say thanks to your wife too very kind dont really think hes totally professional looking... the sculpting wasnt as smooth as i originally thought which sadly shows in the paint job, but im still happy with it ;) thanks for the feedback and kind words guys, ive gone back since and added a glaze of red to the lips and cheeks, a glaze of blue to the eyes, finished the red shoulder pads and also done the blood angels chapter symbol on the left arm, sadly the chest is proving to be annoying! more pics soon :)

Brother Shrike
wondering one thing: how the hell do you do the white wings so well? i play RG (really? never would have guessed...) and the hardest part for me is the white chest eagles... any pointers? that is sick: especially love how you sculpted the chest eagle. ;)
DextrousWombat
i would pay you £12 for that model if your in the UK i would even come and collect it (obviously not original but a replica of the one you've shown here) it is soo good infact i would buy you a pint as well. Blindhamster
hey there guys, theres been no updates of late MAINLY due to me not getting much more on him done, i continued working on the army but its been slow as i was changing jobs, sorting out things with relatives and girlfriend etc... HOWEVER i HAVE made some progress which i shall make sure to post soon :teehee: i have to admit im quite suprised anyone liked the wings, they look REALLY bad in real life, so i might remove them and do them again. I also managed to drop him which messed up the axe arm pretty bad, so hes not the center piece id hoped for and i will most likely make a new one some time in the near future... oh oh and im now a Blue Shirt in games workshop Worcester in the UK ;) start full time tomorrow <edit> some pretty poor pics... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/DSC00036.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/DSC00035.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/blindhamster/bloodangelscompany/DSC00034.jpg but yeah... anyone that happens to be relatively near worcester in the UK come and say hi:D

Morticon
Lads, unfortunately the BnC cannot condone or facilitate any molding for the purposes of distribution of GW IP based items. It's not legal - whether free or not and puts the BnC admin in a tough spot with GW legal >_< They watch us  Please don't ask Blindhamster for sculpts/molds etc in this thread as the offending posts will have to be deleted and the beat stick unsheathed. :P
