Garmr
Amazing work ! I think you did a great work expecially with obliterators. How did you realized the grey armor? Zsoulless
I Must admit I'm Jealous.. You have Captured that "It" factor im looking for in my Own army.. Post after post is Proof that you have achieved a Very Concrete Look and Feel for your entire army.. Each piece Holds its Own and No matter how over the top it Is, It Works well With the Whole Force, Blending in to Create a Coherent Plague Marine Army.. Are there a few rough spots in the WIP pics..? Yes.. Do I think Anyone will care or even notice when this army Hits the Table top.. Hell No! Great Job Animerik!! lord gunthar
That daemon prince is amazing please enlighten me by explaining in detail how you ammebled the flail on the left arm including where you got the pieces from. Antman677
Hey Animerik, good work as usual...i think that the head on the DP is a big large in proportion to the body though. I think if you shaved the back of the head down some and set it closer to the body it would help Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/123310-plague-marines-%C3%A1-la-animerik/page/5/#findComment-2185611 Share on other sites
Animerik
lewiss111:Thanks, but what metal heads are you refering to? Just need to understand which ones you are talking about and then I can find them for you :D Garmr: Thank you. The grey armour was inspired by many but mostly by John Thompsons DG test marine http://www.coolminiornot.com/129486 (I did NOT do this mini) And by Mika over at The warhammer forum Zsoulless:Wow thanks man, your stuff have always been inspiering so I'm happy that you like these lord gunthar:Thanks for the nice comment. The flail arm is the usual DP arm with a new should sculped on to it, the forearm muscles are more defined and scars added. The hand is from a WHFB ogre, the chain is cheap chain I got at some DIY store and the skulls are from the chaos vechicle sprue. The barbed wire around the arm is from forge world. I had to make some loops of wire to attache the chain to the skulls as well as making a ring from wire to attatch the chains to the chain in the hand of the ogre. Hope that helps ;) inspiration was from the GUO by GW Rottenlad: hehe no big secret, just train train and train, lots of water and use clay shapers Antman 677: Thanks I will maybe ty and do that, shaved the head a bit more now. Thanks for all the advice, comments, interest :D ++UPDATE++ Did shave the helm a bit as it was to broad, looks alot better now. Reminds me of the WHFB chaos warriors helm so I like it. Some cables will maybe attached on the neck to the helm, not sure about this yet. I will try it and see how it looks. http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/1.jpg http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/2.jpg http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/3.jpg Will work on a new loin plate later on today, something more fancy and a bit bigger. I will also add some detail to the upper right arm and beef up the legs a bit more as well as fixing some new shoes for this dude. http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/4.jpg Next up is a wip on some icon bearers and a PM, they are mayb 70-80% done. And a update on the flying rotten cashew of death http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/5.jpg Not so much left to do except details, fixing, sanding and making two more Cheers and thanks for looking //Erik Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/123310-plague-marines-%C3%A1-la-animerik/page/5/#findComment-2185938 Share on other sites
Animerik
++UPDATE++ Some more work on the drone http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/DSC02488.jpg Also started some deamons, I really did not like the idea of generic deamons until I read the "eye of terror" book. Plauge zombies was the perfect generic deamons to add to my force so I went to dig through my undead and IG bitz and produced this http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/DSC02493.jpg Just a quick paintjob, gritty and not very neat but it will do on the TT http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/DSC02506.jpg http://i852.photobucket.com/albums/ab85/gspirate/DSC02510.jpg The pics are dark and blurry, I will be sure to get some better pics soon. kapturowski
Great work man! I love your colour palette. The sculpted arm on the DP is ace! Animerik
Man I have been kneedeep in school and training for the last half year or so... I have really neglected my warhammer time and I guess this is the time to come back and try to complete some more Nurgle stuff. I got some things converted up but I'm in the middle of the process of moving now so only some quick WIPs to show for now. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/animerik/DSC02894.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/animerik/DSC02895.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/animerik/DSC02900.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/animerik/DSC02901.jpg I got my hands on a dirty cheap defiler so I guess a plauge hulk is in order http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/animerik/DSC02903.jpg Cheers for now Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/123310-plague-marines-%C3%A1-la-animerik/page/5/#findComment-2487783 Share on other sites
